It is not a charge (Sutter doesn't take any strides that we can see in frame), not an elbow, and he doesn't leave his feet. What is dirty about this hit? It looks like good, hard hockey to me. The worst error in this clip is the decision Cherepanov made to cut into the middle with his head down.

congradulations uve won once in 16 yearsd and when you r team was so good we couldnt even use players from our top 1000 what happened when u did play our best u won 3 out of seven series which means we won with 4 out of 7

holy #$%! I still cant believe what happend. It's sad to see such a talent go at such a young age, this should never had happend. This kid was going to make a big name for himself in the nhl and north america. Just so sad to see things go this way, He was 19!....

canadians say their the best but in the olympics the russians beat canada and in the WJC the same thing happend, and the team that won the stanley cup had mostly all sweedish players and sweeden won gold in the olympics, so canada isn't the best anymore, and the thing is plenty of european players play physical

are you fuckin stupid??? i was at the series and the reason he left his feet was because he fuckin knocked him in mid-air dickhead. if cherepanov hadn't tripped him at the beginning he wouldn't of gotten knocked the fuck out and out of the series. he had it coming. and by the way, the ref called back the penalty cuz it was clean. so think before you type something in fuckhead. sutter rocks, and he kicks ass, again, cherepanov saw it coming. what goes around comes around.
