When I first heard this song way back in the very early 90s, it totally changed the way I experienced music. My best mate & I 'd just formed our own original alterna/punk/noise/rock band & were writing our own original songs- this exceptional band were like mentors to us & taught us SO much about the art of songwriting. Thank u SEBADOH!!!
i remember buying it when everybody was mad about nirvana and i couldn´t understand why this absolutly brilliant band sebadoh couldn´t be as successful as nirvana was. well, i was 13 years old.... :) but neverthless sebadoh is still one of the biggest bands in my life, especially the first albums, III for example. great band, great song.
Sebadoh couldn't be as big as Nirvana because Lou Barlow loathed the grunge scene and distanced himself from it. But he obviously has had staying power in music. Dinosaur Jr. just rolled through my town last month. Kewl showe.
@grrrlshawn I think I really enjoyed it too ... like people just didn't understand ... glad to have grown up though and start enjoying this music with something to celebrate about life too ... I got to interview Lou twice as a journo too ... he's a real nice guy (thankfully) ... the whole band signed my Harmacy CD sleeve on that tour ... proper fanboy

Sebadoh were a pretty strong band, more than just a side project.

@creaturewith20eyes yeah Lou Barlow really did something strong with Sebadoh for sure. Good pure independent (not indie) music.
