I believe the record number puts it squarely in to Edison electrical era, what about your machine? Ever look up serial number or otherwise research its history? Found that a few of my items were either much older or much newer than I had thought! Sounds like it is handling the advanced electrical sound pretty well! Good Job!
Also, this is a great barn-dance or chase style solo by Mr. Reser, with a very nice contrasting impressionistic section, plus the funny "pump" imitation. Brilliant!
This is a great solo; Paul Rickenback (or Rickenbach) was certainly no slouch either; he made some nice piano rolls for Ampico in the 1920's. I wish he had recorded more solos.
