  • Timeless Ballads that speak to the heart as well as the spirit of survival and the preservering determined mindset.

  • Without a doubt, two of the greatest song's that Styx ever recorded, IMO. Blue Collar Man totally rock's, and Crystal Ball is really an awesome ballad. I love hearing Tommy and Jack together performing these songs!!!

  • one of the best

  • Wow, Blue Collar Man sounds SO different. Love it! My favorite two Styx songs!

  • i have never been a live music fan. For whatever reason I "didnt get it"...I would take earplugs everywhere my husband dragged me. Everywhere was OK, I danced.. but mostly tolerated. And then, I went to a SB show in Chicago. If felt like I was lifted from my body- suddenly I understood why people go night after night. Changed my view of music. good enough?

  • no... not good enough

  • Saw them at the coach house so cal Shaw is amazing talent, but they didnt do crystal ball, they did a lot of 60s hippie songs CSNY etc,Yes,etc, sound was great, just didnt dig the song list.could do without sister christian!

  • Man you need to see a doctor to check your hearing. You're obviously deaf!

  • That was in response to DoctorAxe.

  • you suck too!

That was in response to sohumvet...

  • LOL. Your kind of a sensitive little pansy aren't you. If you think Tommy Shaw and Jack Blade "suck" and you think I "suck" also then I'll take it as a complement. BTW where are the videos of you playing you loser.

  • Tommy would not sign a 50 year old ladies record cover after the Shaw/Blades show in Akron Ohio.

He pretended he was talking on his cell phone...

Then laughed at her for asking.

    Big Rock Star?

  • thats BS where did you hear that!

  • Didn't hear it...Saw it!

  • noo! it cant be lier!!!

eh its possible but i still want to meet him

(wow i hope this doesnt make me sound gay) eek

  • Don't know if this is true, but I've been told Tommy saw one too many of his signatures up for sale on eBay and stopped signing. Kinda hard to blame him.

  • I wasn't there so I can't say what really happened, but I know just from my pathetic little existance that what I did and why I did it has been misinterpreted too many times to count. While I'm sure it gets old having a pen and something to sign shoved in your face, having seen him litterally dozens of times, I've seen very few "stars" that are more fan friendly. And lets face it, we can all be jerks from time to time without really inteding to be.

  • You do not have to close your eyes to see...You just have to Hear, then you can see...Thankyou! Love it!

  • wow, ive never heard this song without j.y.

  • Saw the in San Juan Capistrano in a small venue...with my 16 yr old...she may be the youngest tommy shaw fan!!! Any way, they didn't do Crystal Ball at our show :(. They did do "Boat on the River with Tommy on the Mandolin. So AWESOME and an amazing duo. I say Styx in April 1977, my first concert. It was 30 days to the month since that night and even tho I have not seen him in between those times, he and his voice have aged like fine wine...Go Tommy and Jack

  • Man what a voice on Tommy! Crystal Ball is one of my fave songs too! The sound on the video is perfect... sends shivers down my spine too! Had seen Styx earlier this year and was looking forward to the Shaw-Blades concert in Milwaukee on 4/6, but it was postponed. Hope they are okay!

  • OMG!! Crystal Ball sounded amazing!! My favorite Tommy Shaw song. The video may be blurry, but you can just close your eyes and hear that sweet voice. Sends shivers down my spine!!
