Being a citizen of America I have the right to say that I don't like it here, but the army is made to protect. The special forces are used for more dangerous missions (such as Osama's Bin Laden's assassination by the SEALS). I love the game though, I just downloaded it today and I just completed the Basic Training missions.

Im am very glad to see a American admit that, but i was in collage and a SAS Soldier come in and was explaining that when he had to be in charge of some American soldier when ever he told them to do something they all ways replied "Why?" then he said when i told my SAS Solider to do something they did it right away he then told his Soldier who was with him to drop and do 30 press ups he did it so fast i couldn't belive it, i think the SAS is more disciplined than the American special forces.

If the SAS is better than the SEALs, than it's not my a large margin. The discipline in both special forces is probably really similar. So, your story doesn't sound right. I'm not saying the SEALs are the best, but they definitely don't respond with "why?" Even if the SAS was in charge of a regular army unit, which still doesn't sound likely, they would do what they were ordered to do.

It is not a disgrace. America's Army is officially produced by the US Army. It was created to give players an authentic military action experience at home. It is also good for recruiting purpose; a lot of my friends have joined the Army after playing this game. I honestly don't see what is so disgraceful about that.

Well I got the game here in Ocean City, Maryland messing around in a virtual army simulator. Was pretty cool got to shoot a chaingun into a video game and anihalte the insurgents xD Anyways I also got to sit on an armored hummer with saw machineguns 6 to be exact pretty sweet. After all that he said he was a recruiter he had been in army 3 years and was a medic. Now I have the game to play with my friend because they gave it out in the event xD

I heard that America's Army wasn't all that good. The only reason I could possibly conceive of is that no decent studio would want to appear too overtly pro-military by producing a game endorsed by the actual US Army.

Damn shame, those guys understand war and fighting better than anyone. It could have been real good.

Lol this thing doesn't even show real gameplay. This isn't a fast paced FPS, it's more of a "hide behind barrels or you will get shot with one bullet and die" type of game. It's actually really hard.
