@Ominislasher hey there were some kick ass tracks on the new album, Healing Now, To the Shoreline, Eleven (though thats more of there "new sound") 1978...and ilike the "into the wild" part of The Deeper cut...its not as bad as say, the last 3 albums by DT, or anything Linkin Park has made sicne their second album (random two bands eh?)

@enderex They do that to keep the drum sound from being picked up by the mics that are used for the other instruments and vice versa. This is a phenomenon known as crosstalk, and can be a serious problem when you want all tracks from all microphones to be amplified and recorded separately and independently.
