i think the coens' make films like this to distinguish between those who laugh at the incredibly morose and those who feel that paying any heed to dark humor in general is a waste of time.

to say that this movie is HILARIOUS would be like saying that having a mid-life crisis is one of the most enjoyable things to go through.

Yes this film was incredibly witty and the acting was brilliant, but its def. not something i would deem extremely funny.

I went to see this movie last night. MISTAKE!

This has to be the WORST movie of 08 and one of the WORST Ive watched in years.The script was like something writing by a volgar,drunk teenager and Clooney and especially Pitts acting rolls, were VERY dissapointing and even amature looking. Pitt's performance reminded me of a of a no-name actor's first appearance on the screen!Sorry,but dont waste your 10 bucks seeing this movie.Burn After Reading should have been called
