How do you tell what type Hidden Power is for the Pokemon?

@CartoonsWish There are a few ways. One is to attack a Kecleon (set up a double battle with Kecleon as the partner). Attack Kecleon, and Kecleon will turn into the Hidden Power type. Another way is to test it against wild Pokémon and see what's super-effective, what's not very effect, what's neutral, and what's immune.

Starting in the Platinum version, there's also a person who will tell you exactly what type Hidden Power is.

@Direksone Each video capture device has its own way of connection--they will come with the cables you need, as well as a manual. (Whenever you get something that has a manual, I recommend you always read it.)

The one I use is Mac-only, so you should probably look for a different model than mine.

You must understand that you must build a team thinking about the team in general, not just one pokemon. Crawdaunt is more or less effective depending on his mates.

All the Pokémon and attacks are exacty the same. When the battle begins, it's exactly the same as a DS battle.

The big differences are that you get to see your opponent's team, and normal rules say you pick only a few Pokémon to go into battle.

No, Crawdaunt's Special Defense is way below average. You'll have to be extra cautious against all special attacers.

Crawdaunt's best stat is definitely Attack. Getting one with high Speed will not be an easy task, as Crawdaunt has a base Speed of 55 (compared to its base Attack of 120).

Ive just been wondering...I just got a wii very recently and im thinking about getting this, but i have 1 question. Can you Earn/Buy Pokemon In this game or do you have to swap in diamond/pearl to get pokemon.

First question: You earn a few Pokémon to transfer into the Diamond/Pearl version when you complete certain objectives or put in certain passwords.

Second question: No. There are two ways to use Pokémon here: You either use a Rental Pass, which contains incredibly weak Pokémon, or you copy Pokémon over from Diamond/Pearl. Nearly all people with this game use Pokémon copied form D/P, including myself.

The only bad thing about Pokemon Battle Revolution is that once you choose your attack, you've got to wait about 5 seconds for it to happen. In the Gameboy Versions of Pokemon, you don't have to wait once you choose an attack.

The best way to respond to switching is to switch a lot yourself. (On the other hand, switching too much against someone who doesn't switch a lot isn't a very wise move to make.) It's basically a chase--switching is a lot like running away, and most top-level competitive fights start with hit-and-run tactics.

Switch is a good strategy that can be used as a quick start and a scout technique switching strategy can anyway be destroyed if the enemy is good at prediction, so a trainer must choose wisely before selecting a hit and run strategy

Anyway, there is no story mode. You don't catch wild Pokémon, and the Rental Pokémon you have are thoroughly incompetent. There is a one-player mode, but it's just a long series of battles. You use it to unlock the other colosseums and get gifts to bring to Diamond/Pearl, but that's it.
