WOW!!!! I saw the tour for this album. Yes, real and live.....perfect recreation of all these parts, horns, BG vocals, guitars, ect. They were frigging AMAZING live.....sometimes going off into long, almost jazz/ fusion instrumentals. Truly mind blowing vocal harmonies. And the stage....and the show....the costumes....the magic!!!!!! WOW!!!! And yes, I remember "Runnin'". I think they played the entire "All 'n All" album when I saw them.

EWF was the stuff. We had the opportuntity to experience real music and real musicians, Bar-Kays, Gap Band, Rick James, War, Kool and the Gang, just to name a few. I thank God I was born when I was.
I often tell my kids about all my experiences growing up (well, not all of them, lol), but I often relate to them about the good music we had "bac n tha day." I have all of EWF albums and my kids grew up hearing this music played in our house, where the 70's still is alive and doing fine.
Maurice White always kept the music funky with the inspirational message in it. Tell me a group in 2011 that comes close to EWF, the answer is simple NONE OF THEM!!!!!

Just saw them Satuday night. They opened the show with this song. By far the best band I've ever seen and I've seen them all. These guys are in their early 60s and they still have not lost one step. The sound was just huge! Phillip Bailey has no equal. You young people are stuck with just plain garbage today, I feel bad for you. The crowd was mixed with all nationalities and in the whole arena was dancing.

Clearly remember EWF opening with this number on 9th March 1982 at Wembley Arena !!! Was lucky to be right at the centre of stage in row 5. Theses guys were (and still are) awesome. As a 17 year old this was the first major concert i had attended and boy did they kick ass !!!

When I was a young man I too used to try to get inside the mind of Maurice & Co,trying my best to "intellectually" break down the concepts,the lyrics,the artwork etc,but what I soon realised was all this analysing got in the way of just Feeling & Enjoying their great music.I truly feel blessed to have grown up on the music of Maurice & Co.

The planet Jupiter represents the god apollo or appolion. Apollo represent the Ant-Christ. In this song, He is waiting for Jupiter to come, All through the Bible it talks about Jupiter/Apollo, because the Greeks worship these gods, Venus= the Morning Star, which is love, which is Jesus who will come again, Many will think JUPITER is HIM, & will be lead by Satan who will be loved at first, till they realize It's the Star VENUS who is the REAL Messiah at the end of the age.

In the 70's, if you wanted super-tight and technical horns, you either listed to Maynard Ferguson's band, or EW&F. Loved Maynard, but EW&F was just funk personified. STILL makes you want to bust it out.
