If you want waterproofing for your kit, i would seriously recommend the R30, but it almost costs twice as much. The R20 is plenty big and will probably serve you find. It's not waterproof, but you can buy waterproof inner liners from camping shops or amazon to protect your electronics
I'm not a rider, I just need a backpack for everyday use but ones which could be worn high up my back. Used to have Megalopolis, it just kept hitting people in the train and not very easily accessible.
@Rangefinder2008 You'll appreciate the extra space that the R20 will give you! I pretty much use it as my daily work backpack now since I'm driving to work. If you want something slimmer, the R15 will suffice - i.e. for laptop and a few mags, but you might struggle to put a lunchbox and thermos in there.
@Titot182 Actually I'm a photographer with a lot of accessories so I might consider something bigger. However, somehow I wish to limit myself from hauling everything on my back :)
Nice little review. I love my R15 and R25, they do the job perfectly. Do you use the compressions straps at all? I use mine all the time and find it brings the weight in close to me so I really forget I'm wearing either if they're only half full.
@houltmac Most of the times the bag's at 80% capacity in terms of volume so I don't really use the straps any more than I have to. I daren't put anything greater than 10kgs in the pack since I don't really know what it's rated to. The fabric seems relatively thin however.
I didn't really like the look of the 25 even though the salesman was suggesting I get it because it was a better bag. In hindsight, I kinda wish I did, but since it wasn't guaranteed to be fully waterproof, I went against it
@houltmac Err, Like a twat, I popped into Gericke Cheltenham after work and ended up with an R30! It feels the same but swallows up a LOT more gear! Comfy with my 1 piece too, just like the 20!
Anyway, I think I might have seen your bike out and about on your bike. Is yours the 09 model ZX6R in black with akras? I might have seen it at sainos by the gloucester docks last friday evening.
@Titot182 Didn't realise you were in the area - thought you'd moved away. The guys in HG Chelt are pretty cool, but their prices are usually a little high for me. I just watched your R30 review and wish I'd got that instead of the 25 now - looks like we're both twats.
I did have the black ZX6 with the Akra, but I wrote it off (good story if you fancy a pint some time). I now have a white ZX6 with a Two Bros (though that may be up for sale shortly). Ever tried off-roading?
@houltmac Yeah, I'm back in the area... Pretty much live in montpellier near the Rotunda/wine bar. I'm based here for about 2 years so should be out and about on blasts. I was toying with the idea of getting an XR(250-400) as a hack... or even a XR125 again for the sake of having a winter hack! Bransons are getting to know me as the guy with the blade with dodgy leccy!

Thanks for the video mate. One of the least annoying reviews I have ever seen!

I'm considering R15, any recommendations?
