@cotierobinson23 it sounds like the heads are shot but to be sure run some footage through it that you know is good. if its still glitching then its definitely the heads which isn't that tuff of a fix if you can get your hands on the part.
@filmforcatfood well i hate hd. at least when it comes to skate films. hd just doesn't give me the same feeling that sd does. its not as raw and artistic. to me hd is like your letting the camera do most of the work instead of the filmier finding out new ways to push the limits of sd even further. i wouldn't of bought another vx a few months ago if i liked hd.

@skimcty28 guess you also saw my fixed vx video. the vx and the gl1 are about the same in durability. the vx in that video is very old its one of the originals from 95-96 it was used every day for about 3 hours in 90 degree humid weather so something was bound to happen. i don't know how much it costs to fix one since different problems have different prices and every time mine broke i did it my self. i know there's a guy on ebay that fixes them. you tell him whats wrong he gives you a price.

@666yousuck666ha its pretty fun. i like to think up weird angles and make it look good. editing is pretty good too. im a perfectionist so it gets to be very time consuming. the one thing i don't like is when we get to an amazing spot and all i want to do is skate but everyone wants me to film them. that shit gets annoying.

@FilmerStatus i have that opteka titanium series fisheye i never used it since right after i bought the thing the vx2000 started getting glitches so i kept it in the package while i used the vx1k mk1. plus it doesn't come close to the mk1 in wideness and distortion. i couldn't film with the opteka i felt weird filming so far away where as the mk1 your about a foot away at all times. want 160$ for it and that new vx came with a step up ring so now it can fit on a 1000.
@TheShreder757TdP i didn't film it that time. the vx2000 was glitching out really bad when i fixed the 1000. have you seen the video of the first time i fixed it. i did basically the same thing as that time only i replaced one of the chips.
