  • i am glad people regonize what us military kids go through it is very hard espically when your mother or father is a single parent ur so much closer to ur parent then people with 2 parents and it even hardwer when my mom came back to pick me up from my aunts i saw her like a mile away and i am not much of a runner but i ran faster than i ever have to her that whole mile

  • Thank you! Not many people realize the children have sacraficed just as the soilders. I gave up my childhood for this country, its nice to know people recognize it, so thank you!!

  • We bike for the kids! Bike Free!

  • Love it!!

  • Oh wow, I love it!!!! My name is Mary-Lynn Neil, I'm twelve and I wrote and recorded a song telling everyone how it feels when our parents are deployed. It's called A Daughter's Prayer, and it's here on youtube. I hope that you can listen to it.

  • marine brat. my dads over in iraq. semper fi.

  • Other kids don't realize how often we fake smiles and try to be happy to make new friends when inside our world seems to be ending.

"I walk beside you but you may not see me, the strongest among you may not wear a crown." Citizen Soldiers by 3 Doors Down.

It really describes us military kids. We have to be so much stronger than all the other kids, and its so hard, but worth it for all of those that we protect. ♥♥

  • My dad's in the military, and we have moved 6 times in the last 9 years. My dad went to Iraq when I was 7. I'm 15 now. It hurts so bad when your dad is deployed, & you're in a brand new state & you have to start all over, over & over again, & it truly hurts...we sacrifice a lot for this country.

  • GOD Bless America.

I am the son of a Soldier.

and its not really as bad as you think.

but I am sure my adittude will change when my dad gets deployed at the end of the year

  • For many its not much and for many others it is.especially for that person that gets deployed missing home completely alone, having hard work everyday not being at birthdays and especially in the middle of a war..normally its not a big deal for some those some dont feel anything until they loose that person so just always remember to mention to that person you love them i say out of experience..Thanks for the comment have a great one, blessings!

  • God Bless Them All

  • not just the people of america

all people who have nothing to do with

the military THEY have no f'kin idea.... splits both ways dads that miss out on so much, loved ones that are never sure wish you all the best and a safe reunion

  • amen to that!! THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS. i think that the people of america need a reality check like this to show them whats happening.

  • Thank you for this video! I don't think people remember how hard everything can be on the kids. My kids don't really understand why Daddy leaves so much. Thank you to all the troops who serve.
