  • that bass hass a fat tone love it

  • I love the EBS sound!!!

  • Is the first bass a Cort too?

  • the spanish/jazzy one

Im stoned, so if that makes no sense blame the drags

  • song names, in order!?

  • Was that a variation over Portrait Of Tracy?

  • @BleuboxTV It is Cort G series. I own one and it is really great bass.

  • just perfect..

  • i love the sound of ebs,it's very natural bass sound but i cant found here in macedonia ebs bass amps in the music stores

  • Try to order online my friend .... !

  • @borcemiovski you mean fyrom. not macedonia.

  • @MrBassakos dude!!!get a life

  • Comment removed

  • @borcemiovski why? am i wrong?

  • @MrBassakos ....... right order online from a store in germany .... some place/store where it is available ..... get info on it, i think it's possible ..... !!!!

  • EBS are nice sounding for modern music including smooth jazz... but they are NOT good for classic rock or hard rock! I play in a classic rock band and would NEVER use an EBS.

  • PROBLEM SOLVED ......... !!!!!!

  • stir it up- bob marley, where your locks?

  • @Kadandendie I wish i had hair ..... lol

  • This is problem of my life - I physically can accept only top shelf! I bought my first bass guitar just couple days ago but NEED ONLY THIS QUALITY of tone! This is the right stuff to live with it anything else is just waste of your invaluable life! Amazing job!

  • Because they are so damn expensive

  • This might be a stupid question but can you stick a HEAD on a combo amp?I play metal and have no gain knob on my combo amp.

  • @TayThrash077 Only if the Combo has a Speaker in/out and you can disconnect the speaker kabel from the Combo Amp

  • @TayThrash077 You may benefit from getting a pre-amp, if you're playing metal anything with the SansAmp brand would do perfectly. They do rack preamps and also a coouple of pedals that are dfinately worth your attention!

  • I love the sound of these amps, why does hardly anyone use them??

  • i dont know either why nobody uses EBS ..... but we slowly getting there to convince people to play EBS ... :-)

  • @Zombbg4 Not many players in mainstream music use them.

  • I think he uses Windmill basses.

  • Jey Tee plays Windmill basses for sure.

  • Would these amps provide a good PUNCHY tone for metal? The tone I'm looking for is like that of the band Sylosis (they have videos on Youtube you can check for reference), and my current GK/Hartke rig is NOT cutting it

  • Sounds just like the Genz Shuttle which you can get for a whole lot cheaper!

  • does anybody know what kind of basses he's using? one looks like a fender jazz with a skinnier neck.

  • Very nice "teethy" sound of a Jazz bass there.

  • 0:18....omg amazing 0:21 give me tabs!!! lol that was a sick riff man

  • use your ears! learn to listen, u can also see his hands, don't depend on tabs!

  • Hey what kind of strings should I get heavy, medium, or light? I already know that nickle plated bass strings sound the best but I'm not sure about how heavy to get them, I'm thinking of going with medium, I'm going to be playing a lot of kinds of music so I thought that they would sound the best.

  • light = easier to play fast, slap etc.

heavy = fuller tone, tighter punchier sound.

If you are doing any dropped tunings then avoid light strings.

Nickel isn't neccesary better. I prefer Stainless but it's really just personal preference.

  • I'm just doing the regular tunning Beadg, but I want really good tone, and I'm going to be playing a few different ways, I think medium strings are the best for me because I sometimes play kind of hard anyway.

  • Yep, I always find that as soon as I get on stage I get into it and hit the bass harder.

So light guages that may be fine for practising but not when I'm performing.

    Try Gauges 130, 105, 85, 65, 45 to start with on your 5 string.

  • Yeah and on stage I'm guesing that you want to have good tone and have something decently easy to play.

I'll do that, thanks for the tips it will really help.

  • stainless steel sound best to me

  • ebs rocks!

  • BUEN SONIDO!!

  • THANX...VERY MUCHO GRANDE...!!! (-:

  • Hello FSPB123. In relation to your question about bass amps, I would advise you to go to your nearest music store, and ask to try some amps out. For around $350, you may not be able to get a large stack, but their are some good combos on the market. I'm currently using a Warwick Take 12 80w amp with my Fender Jazz Bass, and it sounds really crisp and cut through the mix well. I recommend giving this combo a try for mainly home practice and studio work.

  • i need help can someone please help me lol. okay i have a DLX fender p bass (cost $600) but im playing on a shity $75 amp. i have been playin for about 3 years and had this amp ever since. i need a new amp but am not 100% sure what to get. my price range is prob to about maby 250-350 maby a tiny bit over. please someone help me. it would be well aprieceated. (or however u spell it lol) thank you.

  • he's just noodeling, also replaced the jazz pups with MM humbuckers, sounds better.

  • anybody know the names of any of the songs so i can learn them

  • is not the bright too high??? :)
