You don't compare the versions- you appreciate the unique skills and talents of awesome yet diverse creativity.I don't judge- I just enjoy.

@Senator1 you make a brilliant point. FYI, Cam Cooke was shot in the stomach. He was in bed with a pro. The lady of the night robbed him, stealing his wallet and tailored pants, when he went running after her, the owner of the hotel, a woman, shot him twice in the gut and was released on all charges as the prostitute was asian, young and claimed Cooke beat her. He was killed, and they were never tried, because they were women and he was a black man. Fucking sad shit man.

@TheJaimeification not true! do your research cooke was shot in the heart in the office of the hotel mgr. the pro robbed him & he thought he was set up... the mgr was a black woman & so was the light complexion woman he picked up earlier that day.

I'm a HUGE Lennon fan, but I think this version has more soul and more feeling than the Lennon version. RIP to both men, sad that the world won't get to hear anything new from these legends but blessed we had them around as long as we did to get such amazing music.
