  • How did you get Cutch?

  • omg those black eyes..what an awesome bird.

  • Luv both of u! Marry me!!!

  • You don't talk too much do u? Nice video anyhow :)

  • Sooo cute ;)

  • Both of you guys have adorable eyes! Idk how you got that bird to get that trusting so fast! Not that I know anything about birds in the first place, but good job! :D

  • are they always docile like that in captivity or do they freak out sometimes?

  • @TheConnord12 she's pretty much always calm, she's an imprint so is completely comfortable to human contact

  • Cutch is so adorabowl. :3

  • OMG! *dies of cuteness overload*

  • So cute animal !!!

  • 3:53 Remember: I AM WATCHING YOU!

  • So cool, you must be doing a fine job caring the owl it surely trusts you. Really cool!

  • she is adorable, i have exotic parrots that i hand fed- macaws, amazons, conures ect, now i want an owl one day!! can you keep his claws clipped or do you have to keep them long and wear a glove? i know that my parrots freak out when they see gloves lol

  • @linzaroni143 I'd love a Blue Macaw! I've only got the glove on in this video because it's what you should do, didn't want a load of comments saying " You should be wearing a glove!" etc..... but I've just today recorded a new video (a little early) to say thanks for over 100,000 views. On that clip I don't wear a glove, her talons aren't that bad really.

  • I love Owl's. Most awesome animal ever I'd totally have one as a pet.

  • GAAAAWWWWRRRRRRRR! -smiles-

  • i love her

  • @Mykidrm~ whats your ethnicity??

  • @marek0086 I'm Welsh

  • @Mykidrm~ so how come u can understand that foreign writing??

  • @marek0086 just hi-lighted it and put it into google to find out which language it was, then used a translator to translate it back into english.

  • @Mykidrm

hobbies do odd people. painful condition and animals ... strictly prohibited and the penalty of my country have this.

  • did you teach your owl to play fetch or roll over?

  • @mickiel21 yep

  • LOL the eyes like 0_0

    nice owl

  • you' re cute... awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... and your pet too... is amazing...

  • This is adorable, it's so clear that you love her very much, and she loves you to, very very sweet.

  • it's annoying when people are all "its illegal to own that type of animal". Whoever is making these laws is a big fat jerk.

  • Owls are freakin' adorable.

  • just to answer questions in the US it is illegal to possess any raptor as a pet without proper permits, especially federally protected species.

  • @weber247 thanks for that, I'm in the UK so I'm never sure on other country's regulations. :)

  • @weber247 The US has tons and tons of regulations on owning wild animals. I believe owls fall under a Falconry license, which requires taking a written exam and being an apprentance for several years. Each state has different regulations.

  • THOOOSE EYEZ THOOOSE EYEZ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • Sucks we have to jump through a hundred hoops, have papers and pay fees before we can even think of owning these in the states

  • Owls are truly the most gorgeous animals out there!

  • I thought it was illegal to have owls as pets? I am a total owl lover...anyway I can get one? lol

  • she's beautiful : )

  • oh and say if an owl was born and lived in captivity, would it ever survive in the wild if it were to be released? i saw an owl exhibition at the weekend and im proper interested now!

  • i love owls!!! what's their temperament like or does it depend on the species?

  • its...looking in to my soul...and the owl is copying after him

  • does eyes O.O

  • oh my god!!! she is absolutely gorgeous!!

  • ...I would like the both you in my house, plz+thnx

  • Why do you have leather straps on his legs? Are those permanent?

  • @RainbowConure they aren't permanent, they are detachable. They are only on to help me control her without pulling on her tiny leg and feet bones

  • Comment removed

  • are her wings clipped?

  • @JihadBunnydick nope

  • Nice vid man! (O,O)

  • HE'S STARING INTO MY SOULLLL

  • so adorable you didnt have to be chatty haha you both are eye catchers ;) where can you buy an owl anyway? im curious i kinda want one... lol

  • @Ninjanea in the UK you can just look online and there are loads of owls for sale, then you can go and get it without any training or paperwork or anything. Not sure about other countries tho

  • @Mykidrm thanks! if i ever get to travel to the UK im going to get one! lol i LOVE owls they are absolutely gorgeous!

  • awesome shit i wanna have one

  • @Zoester415 @deeporange1 thanks guys

  • @Mykidrm Sure Sweet Friend of mine & Ur Most Definatly Welcome & Deserving !;) <3

  • She's very beautiful!

  • i dont think its a scops owl arent they supposed to have those ear tuffs!! just wondering how did u get her?

  • @aftabdarogar I don't think you're a real person, a real person would have enough intelligence to realise that comment is a complete waste of time!! ( why use double exclamation marks? is it to shout twice as loud through your keyboard?)

Yes, she is a scops owl. I bought her from a breeder. No, I don't need a license.

But you'd know all that if you could be bothered to read before posting pointless comments

  • @Mykidrm first of all get that stick outta your ass....responding to a simple innocuous comment with sarcasm and cynicism is not welcomed anywhere on this planet.. Also suggest from session with a therapist with fix that anti social attitude and maybe learn a little humility and etiquette might go a long way into making you a presentable human being but then humility and etiquette come from upbringing and bit of genetics so keep it up says a lot how ur parents brought you up

  • @aftabdarogar Sorry, at least my parents taught me to spell correctly, along with basic manners. It's very rude to ask questions when the answers are right in front of you... basic laziness and ignorance. Secondly, you're right, a simple comment from a simple idiot " i dont think its a scops owl arent they supposed to have those ear tuffs!! "

How dare you assume I don't know what Owl I have and you know better, and then proclaim it with awful spelling and grammar?

  • @Mykidrm now coming to the comment on the owl species you have a nice owl (yes you own a owl its no big deal grow up)...but as your "breeder"and you trust him more than books and I am pretty sure hes has a Ph.D. in Ornithology right same as u? ..read up clearly says "The Indian Scops Owl is a small (23–25cm) owl, although it is one of the largest of the scops owls. Like other scops owls, it has small head tufts, or ears." Q.E.D

  • @Mykidrm besides if you don't like answering comments many of them which are alike then stop posting videos....typical i m pretty sure 20-22 year old jackass generation coz when you cannot debate on facts you start questioning grammar hurrah retard read up Websters there is term called Internet lingo in it maybe you might raise your IQ a lil bit..

  • @aftabdarogar I've got no problem answering people with questions when the information isn't provided. I answered your question and responed to your idle comment with my opinion to it. Besides, please continue to bitch, moan, reply and hi-light this video. The more the veiws I get, the more I get paid :) x lol* (*internet lingo, it's really not hard, bad grammar and idiotic statements are another matter entirely)

  • @Mykidrm you are hereby blocked from messaging me I certainly have a Job to do. And remember Gita and Veds say debate and civil discussion however opposed to each other are the basis of civilized society... so hoping you will evolve into a civilized person someday

  • @aftabdarogar Love you too, there hasn't been a debate on any facts, I've not said she doesn't have "tuffs", she does. Just because you can't see them in this particular clip, certainly doesn't mean they aren't there. Do you assume I have no legs because you can't see them?

She is a Scops Owl, she's been DNA tested, as you know the best way to sex a small owl is a DNA test on their feathers, unless you don't know alot about owls and you are getting all your information from google?

  • @Mykidrm this could have been replied politely at my first post that she hasn't developed prominent tufts as yet, instead of smart mouthing, sarcasm, cynicism and berating people. and again I will say if you dont like answering simple queries and same questions many times do not post videos and No i don't depend on Google(nothing against the net but its unsupervised) i have all the editions of "birds of india" by salim ali and yes he was renowned ornithologist

  • @aftabdarogar: you are posting so much, but what´s your point? Come on, it´s just a video!

    I like it.

  • @mastermutz i was just hoping to teach the uploader some manners in responding to people and be a little nice to people and not be snappy at them for no rhyme or reason just becoz you think its ok to do so but then again you cannot knock any sense in a mossy rock.. i enjoyed the video too but what ruins the mood is some lack of manners in people around ciao enjoy mate

  • @aftabdarogar ahhh, yet another thought provoking and insightful comment. Really, a Mossy Rock?........ and you think I'm the one that needs a therapist?

Oh and thanks for the punctuation, it made the post really easy to read.

By the way, if you hadn't insinuated that I was stupid enough to not know what type of Owl I have, none of this would have been posted.

  • @mastermutz there is no point, just another youtube troll

  • What do you mean by a "complete imprint"? I've seen this mentioned on other sites but not sure what that means. It is my understanding that owls cannot move their eyes and that is why they can move their heads so far around.

    The Meltdownman

  • @meltdownman1 imprint - A learning process by which a newborn or very young animal establishes a behavior pattern of recognition and attraction to another animal of its own kind or to a substitute (an object identified as the parent) -> ME!

  • ur gonna ruin ur owl's eyes with that much light in room, they need to be in total darkness all the time dumbass

  • @pimpo911 I love it when people preach and bitch about something when they obviously have no idea what they are talking about. I have an Owl and your jealous, that's alright........ you'll get over it

  • 0:36 IM GONNA STEAL YOUR SOUL!

  • Why do you use a glove to hold him? Never quite got that.. I mean, they don't seem to bite.

  • @JoaoCMBarbosa as I've said previously, I don't need it, just thought I should wear one as I was on camera. On other B.O.P. their talons are very sharp and can easily rip open your hands

  • aww so cute the owls eyes are huje wicth makes the owl cute

  • looks like celepuk eh?

    sundanesse scoops owl from indonesia

  • That's so cool mate I like owls a lot but wouldn't get one as I wouldn't know how to take care of one so thanks for letting me see yours much better that way as I'm away from home a lot

  • Awesome owl man! Looks like s/he has a good home! What do you feed it?

  • i want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've been wondering..for a very long time now.

HOW IN THE WORLD ARE PEOPLE ABLE TO OWN OWLS????

  • @ImGonaEatChu I get asked this question alot, there are no laws/rules in the UK to say you can't have one. There are private breeders & sellers, classified ads and websites. You just go to a breeder, pay for your owl and bring it home and love it.

  • @Mykidrm Do you require a licence, i live in AUS and i really want an owl, so i really don't know what to do.

  • @alienkilla22 You'll need to check the laws in your country..... sorry I can't help further

  • @ImGonaEatChu They belong in a environment without boundaries. I think it's selfish to keep them as a pet.

  • @hermbil123 another person who thinks I'm some how harming my beautiful Owl. Once again, Shes not ment to be wild! She was born in captivity, raised by us & is very happy & content. If I were to "release" her or let her be "free" she would either starve or killed by natural predators. Why would I want that to happen to her?

She's the most spoilt little owl I've ever seen, happy & perfectly healthy.

Would you rather live in a mansion with staff to serve your every need, or a box on the street?

  • Absolutely gorgeous. She looks happy and well cared for so well done!

  • You're married? Damn! You're hot!

  • when u opened ur eyes and looking at the cam, ur eyes became as wide as hers :))

amazing "pet" and a weird choice for one too :P

  • Where did you get her?! Is there anyway I could get a pet owl easily?

  • damit shes beautiful :D good movie mate

  • wow.

  • Birds like to keep themselves clean. Human hands are generally oily. Stroking a bird's feathers doesn't do them any favors.

  • She's adorable!

  • I want a saw whet owl but pretty sure it may be illegal. Love your bird

  • @zharmane you can legally own a saw whet owl in the UK, it's just finding one for sale is impossible

  • Youre ust a very empathic person ... all that counts!

  • Hey man just came accross your vid whyl looking at some others of wild pets. Your owl is realy beautiful it's eye's are awsum, so huge no wonder they can see so well in the night. You have an amazing pet for sure, rock on man...

  • It looks so amazed.

  • Beautiful eyes she has. :)

  • are those Indian Scops owl to get in finland legal because i so wanna too :3

  • soooo cute and beautiful!!! i love she

  • do u have to have a speshal licents to keep her or is it legal were u r.

  • @Alucardick I rarely wear gloves when holding her but I thought I should do things "buy the book" as I was on camera

  • i dont know what attracts more attention of girls in this video, the owl or the guy himself, haha

  • O.O

  • I love she!!! :3 She's so beautiful! *o*

  • She got an alien eyes. Or she is an alien :O ?

  • very beauty owl the same with guy =]

  • Comment removed

  • так похожа на хозяина =)

  • прикольная

  • How did you get one? Do you adopt or rescue?

  • very very nice ^^

  • Owls are so cute

  • Are owls high maintenance compared to other birds? Are they all friendly, or is yours an exception? That owl is sooooo freaking cute btw!

  • @Splashstorm04 as long as you get them as a chick you can imprint them so they are comfortable around people and being touched. She's very low maintenance and such a joy to keep

  • @Mykidrm That's really nice to hear! If that's the case then everything I've been reading about pet owls has been highly biased. One of the articles said "Captive owls still retain their natural instincts .... Karla has lived with Alice for over 10 years, Alice still bites if Karla tries to pet her on the back." I can see all that was very false information.

  • that is so fucking cool! :D

  • 0:37 O.O

  • I want ittttttttt :(

  • So sweet.

My son loves this. He is 20 months.

  • owls soo cute.........and so is the guy holding it :D

  • She's beautiful. I just hate to see those things wrapped around her talons :/

  • @aDRiiaNaNaaa it's just like a dog witha collar on?

  • @Mykidrm Well sure, but I mean.. the way you grabbed the strings I'd imagine that would hurt her. Frankly, she is being forced against her will to stay somewhere when she'd simply rather move to a spot a little further away. I know it's not your intention... I don't know, perhaps I'm over analyzing..

  • @aDRiiaNaNaaa no, it doesn't hurt her and as you can see by her demeanour, she's very happy to be with me and around me. She's not screaming/trying to fly away/attacking/biting at me. As I say, it's like a lead for a dog, just helps to keep her under control without having to pull on her tiny bones in her legs and feet

  • @Mykidrm Alot of difference between a owl and a dog fyi. Owls are alot awesomer than dogs if u ask me.

  • @Naltz15 aDRiiaNaNaaa was asking why she had the jesses on her legs, that's why I was comparing her to a dog. But yes she's way awesomer (0v0)

  • @Mykidrm O lord sorry bout that. I automatically get really defensive when I think that someone is bad-mouthing any kind of bird espically owls, crows, falcons and so on lol.

  • Beautiful :)

  • She's Cute. Is it even ok to have a owl?

  • She is realy beautiful. Take realy good care of her. :)

  • is it legal in Canada to have an owl

  • did you ever have trouble getting Cutch to let you touch her? Ive been reading up on owls and I hear they hate it. Also how much time to you need to devote to her on a daily basis? She;s beautiful by the way!

  • @Joolssify We've had her since she was about 20 days old, we've always been hands on with her and accepted us as her parents. As day to day goes, we only handle her for a few minutes each day and interact with her with her when cleaning and feeding.

  • Isn't it illegal to have owls as pets?

  • If it's legal in the UK is it possible to buy one?? where did you get it? It's so beautiful! I love owls!

  • @MarijaKeisha Yes, you can buy them, the same as you buy a cat or a dog. Just contact a breeder and go and collect it

  • @Mykidrm Omg, I think I'm gonna move to the UK ! it's amazing! Are they expensive?? can she fly? Doesn't the owl want to get away?

  • i hate how people are always with that its illegal its illegal bull shit does the owl look sad and dying to you? it looks happy clean and well kept leave the man and his owl alone....although im sure you already know but you should keep her flying so she doesn't get those blisters birds get from perching too long

  • Marry me! <3 ;3

  • How come you have an owl? It's not even legal to keep those.

  • @ShibbyDaisy It's legal in the UK

  • Wow, so beautiful

  • THE OWL HAS PRETTY EYES

  • Hey the owl's cute but your not hard on the eyes either ;-)

  • 2:14 ... D'awww

  • How is having a big bird as a pet? I thought about having one but don't they need to fly? I think that they do their thing everywhere and in strange places. Thanks for your opinion.

  • my vote is GIRL!!!... she looks like a girl xD

  • God she's so cute...

  • Where can I catch that pokemon!!!

  • lol i wish i could do this stuff to my parrot but he gets so mad xP and makes wierd eyes and kind of tries to bite :'(... But I still love him a lot <3 <3 <3
