I don't dislike stallers, though never have particularly liked them, either. However, I approve of the Skarmory on account of the fact that half the time, it is attacking with Freefall, and also because of its nickname.

Why not take Toxic stalling a level higher and use a Multi-Scale Dragonite?? With Multi-Scale, if you are at full HP, Damage will be lessened. Now for the moveset: Toxic-Staller D-nite EV's: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def Nature: Adamant Item: Leftovers Moves: Toxic Freefall Roost Protect/Extremespeed Has good bulk, and priority in Extremespeed (You can also use Aqua Jet if you want to kill ghosts fast)

i am told by a friend that free fall will be banned because if u scarf a pokemon with free fall your opponent wont be be able to do anything. wondering about your thoughts spade?

@9298035 Freefall works like every other attack but both pokes are unable to move for that one turn they are in the air. If you are faster, it simply means your opponent gets to attack you after the Freefall hits. It would be pretty crazy if there would be a loophole like that.

Nice Skarmory. Good game, Spade. Would like to see more of it though since it didn't get much action, which I know you'll do. IMO, between Skarm and Zapdos, it'd just be team preference as far as who the team wants as a Toxic staller.

Oh, and yeah, I love stall. Everyone should pilot a stall team at least once and come back and tell me that they're not a better player after using it for a while. Stall requires you to THINK!

I think Skarmory is better for the free-fall combo than Zapdos is....the defense is one thing, and also you don't really need the attack/sp.attack if it's gonna be all stall. Maybe invest those extra EVs in speed or something? The only thing is, Zapdos looks better for the part as I can't even picture a metal bird with a few steel feathers even getting a few feet off the ground....XD

BTW, Dasutodasu is one ugly mofo.

Not too gimmicky, really. If they're not prepared for it (like most people) then it really is an excellent toxic staller. Should probably invest a few Speed EVs though. (Max Speed Timid Burungeru outspeeds Neutral Skarm by one point, so... yeah.)
