If a child respects you then the child might want you to spank him/her to give them a quick resolution. Good, yet a good time out might be best for you and the child so you can calm down and the kid can think about his/her "crime".
This is just a video I put together as a visual for a class presentation on the Dobson method. I don't have any personal feelings either way on whether it is the ideal method for classroom discipline but I think there is a lot of use in the home settings.
