I haven't listened to any Elliot Minor, but i hope for their sake that the drummer isn't so abysmally awful on their original songs. It's not even a technical thing (though god knows this guy is certainly nothing special) it's the disregard for the mood of the song. Sixteenth note fills and hypnotic buildups don't mix... Most of us learned that that when we were fourteen.
