Anybody who has been watching Rachael's skating up to now can tell she has more speed and power across the ice and better jump takeoffs and landings now than she had in this video from 4 years ago. Heck she even fixed her flutzing, a rare case for senior ladies. No idea what makes a person believe that Rachael has never worked on those areas.

Rachael should have listened to this commentary--at age 14. She has done quite well for herself, given some of the issues Dick and Peggy point out, but working on speed, power and jump technique could have taken her to a higher level. Not that making the Olympic team and becoming US champion are too shabby.

Rachel is my hero and I love the emotion in her skating. She also got right back on her fall and that was so heroic!!!!

@brzydallo agree. And the commentary keep saying things about she should improve in technical and how good she is artistically. Well, guess she changed 180 degree.
