  • The reason I say FPS games aren't so great on the Wii is because the analog control just isn't quite analogous enough (regardless of settings). But then, it might just seem that way to me because I'm used to playing with a trackball with the sensitivity cranked to the max for ultimate intuitive response speed. Also, I'm kind of basing this view on Red Steel which I found to be difficult to play because it's hard to aim accurately -kind of the opposite of the STALKER games which pwn all other FPS

  • The Wii control concept is great for sports games, racing games, Punch-Out style games, and third-person games (especially if they involve lightsabers, though you usually can't do quite as much as you'd hope with the nunchuk control style, but at least you can play ambidextrously). FPS games don't play so well with that style of control. But then, FPS games are best on PC. Wii style FPS games work okay as long as they don't involve firearms (gravity gun type stuff would work, though).

  • 1:16 is that a motion plus on that wii mote?

  • I hope Nintendo will do well and we don't see a Mario game on a Sony or Microsoft console in the future.
