@1213Leaf Remember, Blue was attacked the same way in the Yellow chapter by Agatha's Gengar. All it took was a Paralyz Heal to fix him up. Silver's damage probably isn't too much more severe than that.

@blackdiamond288 yeah....i gotta say there's a huge tie! it would be either be GSC saga, Ruby and Sapphire saga, or the HeartGold and Soulsilver Saga (even though it hasn't come out yet, it's still one of my favorites)!

i think personally, this chapter has to be one of those chapters in the whole pokemon adventures that has an extremely deep meaning behind all that action. like one thing is that people suffer a whole lot for standing up for what is right (silver). so many other stuff is there. i can't wait for the hg and ss chapter to come out in english!

@blackdiamond288 well i think in the japanese run it is done, but they have to put it into volumes, and then when it comes over here, it has to be translated into english which takes a while. i couldn't believe the manga was over! i thought perhaps the final battle will be stretched over 2 or 3 chapters!

@nmol61 i don't think you can get these chapters in english just yet. notice the "yet." they haven't finished up the platinum chapter translation, and they have to do that. then afterwards probably in a couple of months or so, the hg/ss chapter will come out in english. i don't understand a single word of what they're saying, either. but all we have to do is basically wait. i can't wait for the hg and ss chapter to come out! :)

The HG/SS manga arc was utter shit. It was too rushed. It had a lot of potential, but they ruined it by rushing through and not giving a shit about it.

Is it just me or does Silver go through a lot of shit? First he gets kidnapped by Ho-oh when he's 2 years old, then forced to work for the Mask of Ice, then the Mask of Ice dumps him into a frozen lake with Gold, then Will and Karen beat him senseless, then he finds out that his father is the leader of Team Rocket (though he accepts it later), then he gets turned into a statue, and now he's blind.

@DrKnockOut1115 And he was hit and hurt by a lot of pokemons, including Arseus. Oh and when he met with Crys in this HGSS arc, he was suffering of poison by an attack of one of Petrel Pokémons... Silver suffers a lot, but thats why he is my fav xP

I just love that strong, silent personality that he has. but he has feelings like the rest of us. i could even dare to say that he was the bravest, best character in all of pokemon adventures! :)

Silver is upset that his fate is again linked to Team Rocket, and he breaks free of Petrel, and despite his blinding, throws himself towards Arceus. The Generals send out their Pokemon to try to stop him. Crys wants to help, but Gold shows that Silver has secretly left behind his Feraligatr, and that Silver is just trying to distract the Generals. So, the three starters were sent out, and each Attack manages to de-materialize one of the dragons, leaving only Arceus behind.

The reason is that, when Giovanni returns and see what Archer, Ariana and Proton have done to his son, he would destroy them, which leaves Petrel behind (who's pretending to protect Silver). In this case, Petrel would have the chance to become the second-in-charge of Team Rocket in the future.

Petrel recalls how Archer got mad at him for losing the two Plates to Silver previously, and when Petrel masqueraded himself inside the TR base as Silver (for no particular reason), Jagura (who was jailed up) told him that Silver was Giovanni's son. Silver's reaction to the mentioning of Giovanni's name made Petrel convinced that the fact is true, and he used Golbat's lick to blind Silver, then kept him hostage.
