  • STD's that you aren't aware of are the best kind!

  • Gimme some statistics with vaccinated children healt vs non vaccineted!! Why are these stats not available... Im no fanatic in either direction but some prove would be nice before we inject our kids with all sorts of nasty stuff... Always just words and the fact that we live longer...

  • Very interesting. This "doctor" (or whoever he may be) says people are living longer than ever before because of the routine preventative vaccinations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the life expectancy DROPPED here in the U.S.?? Hmmmm....

  • @RickyRico73

That could probably be correlated to changes in diet, and not so much our medical treatment.

  • -vaccines will make u sick!

-drug companies are buisness that just want to sell u shit (like drugs that help u quit smoking) you dont need drugs to help u quit

    -

  • This is the first GOOD video I see that is full of crap! Most of this is just wrong or unreal. Who gets to do preventative medicine, get random test and talk to a doctor for one hour? You don't just do blood work and get a result like "hey we were checking your blood presure and we found aids" you have to be looking for something specific to find it because test are expensive, doctors time is streched and people can't afford random tests.

  • I really and honestly can't understand why someone would be against vaccines. I mean, I'd rather get a vaccine than go hygiene crazy and use hand-sanitizer every half-hour. Maybe Americans have a different viewpoint seeing as they have to pay for their medicine and I understand that vaccines are sometimes not necessary (I don't get the seasonal flu vaccine). But people treat it likes its toxic. To me it looks like media-induced hysteria.

  • @harukih Some people believe that there are things in the vaccines that may make us worse. Think abou it. They are man made medications (love alliteration + asonance, as a rapper), and the medical field, like everything else, is a business. Why give a cure and get rid of our business when we can delay it and keep money flowing. I still get vaccines, though some say mercury was in the H1N1 shots.

  • @brucenatelee

I agree that with you on that the medical field should not be a business. But really, if the vaccines didn't work, no one would buy them and where would the companies be then? If I were a company like that, I would probably get any cure I find out into production ASAP, beat the other companies to the chase. Thats the point of capitalism. There will always be other diseases to fight. From what I read, (from WHO btw) the mercury in the H1N1 vaccine is harmless.

  • people live longer because of better hygiene and environment. not because of a vaccine... this vides is full of lies. good point BlueEagle8 btw

  • @ChronicMist

I must point out that vaccines are probably part of the reason we live much longer than ever before. Just look at Japan, routine doctor appointments are encouraged by the government. They focus very much on preventative measures (maybe because of the high population density) and in conjunction with their lifestyle and food this is probably the reason behind the fact that they have the highest average life expectancy of any country.

  • @harukih wondered why japanese people have the most cases of cancer in the world? :P

  • @ChronicMist

Do you forget that Japan was nuked by the USA? Radiation causes cancer. Hundreds of thousands of people were exposed to that radiation. Their children are also affected greatly by the radiation.

But I also looked up your fact, and I found that Japan was not even in the top fifteen countries in the world when it came to deaths by cancer. (per capita) Japan has in fact one of the LOWEST cancer mortality rates among developed countries.

  • @harukih I'm not talking about older people dieing of cancer. I'm talking about young people. and no, there weren't radioactive fallout just because the bomb where detonated high in the atmosphere, above the earth.

  • @ChronicMist

No radioactive fallout as a result of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings?

the bombs were detonated just above the surface for maximum effectiveness not high up in the air. You did not even mention young people in your first comment and I found a study made from 1960 -2000 which states that Japan is no different from any other country in terms of age-group cancer ratios. Where are you getting your stats? Your ass?

  • The fact that GE has large investment bias when it comes to some of the statements in this film is lighting through so well. Frankly I'm a bit dissapointed about GOOD now having watched them for a long time. So I got to agree with BlueEagle8 and what givebirthathome said in one of the first comments. Thumbs down

  • sometimes my doctor touches me down there

  • medical marijuana

  • Man, to get an hour with a doctor here would take two visits. Not only that, I know personally that my fathers doctor just presribes blood thinners because my fathers diet hasn't changed one bit. He just says that his doctor is giving him pills and everything is better now.

  • Scott Nearing lead a healthy life doing farm work and eating a near vegan diet and died at 100 after writing a book about not suffering from any illnesses or needing any doctors. Scott didn't die from illness; he felt he was finished, so he stopped eating.

Most of us will benefit from seeing a doctor from time to time, and if Nearing had ever broken a leg, he certainly would have, too. But we should not accept this anxiety-mentality of constantly worrying about our health.

  • yea...my doc just had one glance at me and knew i was sneaking up at night and dont get much sleep lol

  • GE Healthcare is funding a project with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to form a non-profit center "21st Century Biodefense". First, we could ask the question, who are we defending ourselves from, and shouldn't there be a better, more fundamental 21st century answer to the threat of biowarfare than vaccines? Like eliminating the motivation for war? We haven't nuked ourselves to death yet..how about enforcing the conventions against biowarfare?

  • We also need to think whether much research on the safety of vaccinations would be done in an environment where the people funding development are making huge profits off of them AND certain others assuming from the get-go that they were "needed" to protect us from a huge threat.

Fluoride is exceptionally toxic, and this was a well-known fact, nevertheless, since manufacture of atomic weapons caused fluoride pollution, these effects were covered up lest they interfere with the war effort.

  • See the journalism Project Censored site for more details about he cover-up of wasted crops over a large region and other effects caused by the Manhattan Project in New Jersey, during the initial enrichment of uranium efforts.

  • Doctors do not help you , they prescribe or cut.... thats it.

  • Do you own research on vaccines their history, what ingredients they have in them and exactly how they react in your body. Make sure your vaccines do not have thimerosal (mercury) in them. Read Dr. Mary's Monkey by Ed Haslam if you want to learn about the downside to vaccines.

Medical Doctors do not learn nutrition in medical school, hence, most have no idea on what advise to give. An MD who can't prescribe synthetic pharmaceutical drugs is called a nutritionist.

  • This video is paid for by GE, who has a history of large-scale air and water pollution. Even today, PCBs still leak into the river from GE's Hudson Falls plant. According to EPA documents, only the U.S Government, Honeywell, and Chevron are responsible for producing more Superfund toxic waste sites than GE.

Checks ups are fishing expeditions so that the Medical Industrial Complex can soak up more of your earn labor and keep you in the sick care system.

  • Thanks for this comment BlueEagle, I didn't know GOOD was an astro-turf organization. I agree with you about check ups, too. I know there are some studies showing that check-ups are mostly a waste of time maintaining health.

I was disturbed to find the following out. GE, which is a weapons manufacturer, has a large subsidiary GE Health now. Supposedly now, we'll need more vaccines because of the "war on terror". I'll post more about GE ...

  • General Electric Co. owns the broadcasting network NBC, and makes weapons. In terms of market capitalization, GE is the world's second largest company.

State of the Union address: President Obama announced a new initiative to respond faster and more effectively to bioterrorism and infectious diseases.

"GE Healthcares leadership... in innovative... manufacturing technologies will enable 21CB to rapidly and flexibly produce vaccines for the U.S. governments dynamic biosecurity needs"

  • @BlueEagle8

I live in Germany, where one pays some percentage of salary for medical insurance (like most European countries). So no matter how often you go to the doctor or receive treatment, you pay basically the same. In spite of that, most medical insurances stimulate / reward you for taking regular check-ups (one in two years after 35 years of age). Medical insurances do not do that because they are good in nature but because prevention / early treatment is statistically less expensive.

  • @BlueEagle8 *shrugs* they're trying to make themselves look good.

  • That is ridiculous! "One of the reasons people live longer than they ever have before is routine preventative vaccinations". Talk about a myth!

People DO NOT live longer than they ever have before...its the average lifespan is greatly increased, and that is usually responsibly attributed to things like better housing, clean water supply, better nutrition resulting in vastly decreased infant mortality, and things like blood transfusion and better trauma care being available for adults.

  • @givebirthathome Yeah id like to agree. He could have put it in another way.

  • @Degenskonto Yes, I don't object to the overall concept of immunization, which may be helpful in terms of certain vaccines, certain areas, certain times, but this should be an individual health decision. Wiki cites the death rate from measles encephalitis as 15%, but I believe the occurrence of measles encephalitis in countries where people have basic necessities of life is *extremely low*. That changes the risk/benefit ration.

  • And one could ask, ala vaccine researcher Belgian Dr. Kris Gaublomme, why we are paying for vaccinations to ward off disease, rather than providing the conditions that would allow these people a standard of living that would keep them healthy.

A fraction of the money spent on the Iraq war (80 billion) apparently would have paid for clean water supplies and other basic necessities for everyone on earth.

  • @givebirthathome and also that we have better medicine. People don't die (as much) from the common cold, or the flu. And that's why they said "One of the reasons" jeez.

  • Do all "routine preventive vaccinations" have ANY net positive effect on lifespan in affluent countries.? So even with

"one of the reasons" appended, this is misleading statement.

Iatrogenic (doctor-caused) deaths are one of the leading causes of death in the US. As with all medical decisions now, we should be very careful of trusting even a scientific literature funded primarily by commercial interests. Gov't decreased funding for research several decades ago.

  • @givebirthathome are you stupid? Heart disease is #1 by a LOT, because look at what americas eat. Yeah doctors make mistakes, but I hate that "average joes" think they know better than their doctors.

  • @HockeyDiane Ah, the voice of fascism.. "I hate that 'average joes' think they know better than their doctors." Well Diane, good luck with that attitude, I'll continue to think for myself. I would recommend to anyone else reading this looking up the statistics on the tens of thousands of deaths and injuries caused each year, not only by errors, but by correctly prescribed medication.

  • @givebirthathome

So first. If you want to be taken seriously you should chose yourself a name that doesn't suggest you are retarded. ARE YOU BATSHIT CRAZY? Giving birth at home is an excellent way of killing yourself or your newborn baby.

You keep saying stupid things. Things one could write pages about, not a YouTube comment. I'd really like to make you see where are you terribly wrong, but I can't because I lack the time and you lack the intellect. So yea, I'll just call you stoopid.

  • @d3st88 lol Are you batshit brainwashed, a troll, or just an example of extreme youthful arrogance? For normal people who care to look at the controlled studies on homebirth, I recommend obstetrician Lewis Mehl's work, which showed that, in a large study of parents, matched for risk factors, there were no maternal deaths in either the home or hospital birth groups...and fewer infant injuries from interventions like forceps.

  • @givebirthathome

Youthful arrogance you say. I have an IQ that borderlines with genius and comparable, if not more wisdom. Believe it or not, I did research into this topic and came to the solid conclusion that giving birth at home was a dangerous practice for batshit crazy people like religious zealots, conspiracy theory advocates and hippies and such.

I glimpsed through the hits I got on Mehl, and yeah, he's crazy. His craziness borders batshit craziness. Spirits and stuff, sure, Mr. Mehl.

  • How very *many* people on youtube "have an IQ that borderlines with genius"? 1 out of a 1000 level IQ equals over 300,000 people in the US and is yours even that high? IQ does not equal correct conclusions..garbage in/garbage out.

"Glimpsing through hits" is not "doing research." Science is science no matter what the personal beliefs of the scientist. Perhaps you'd like to challenge the accepted mathematics produced by believers such as Ramanujan and Pascal, as well? Learn, baby.
