i got the goty edition of this on steam while it was on sale i played it and it was really fun and when i quit my save was gone! by the way i quit through the ingame menu and it said all my progress would be saved but it didnt. the game also auto saved many time so im kinnda wondering if i should reinstall my game or if theres any fix to this issue.

You can lvl in Call of Duty too and it also has mission, but cod isnt rpg...Borderlands is like hack and slash(like Diablo) only that instead of swords u use guns, so its like hack and slash action game with guns.

It is not classic RPG and missis 90% of things that RPG needs. It is an awsome game, but def not RPG.

Actually quite the opposite. They wanted something less realism in look and rather something more artistic. Think CG vs Van Go, Van Go's work is still widely acclaimed and it's nothing like what artists do today.

Well i reakon its more like 50 guns at the most taken apart then randomized with each part,stat, and colours. I think. Watching gameplay i saw like 3 or 4 guns that had the same iron sight and same body of the gun just in different colours.

The graphic style is called "Cell Shaded" and it's not crappy cartoon graphics. It has a superior-inferior quality to it. If you can't get past the graphics then you won't realize how good the game really is. With this kind of graphics the developers are able to put more "Action" into a game than beauty, making the game lag a lot less. The game XIII was one of the first cell shaded games I played and the online action was always intense.

It's one of if not the first co-op game that allows you to go wherever you want, no matter how far away from your team. It's completely open world, something that very few co-op games have. The graphics bring the game to life, one reason I'm not a huge fan of Fallout is because they gray, brown, and gray-brown landscape could potentially put me to sleep. I'm actually fairly happy that you aren't playing this if you are so quick to dismiss it because it's a worse Fallout, with co-op. It's not.

Well fact-wise I'd say Cel-shading runs smoother, but for look, I'd say it also matches the art style; win / win imo. At least the gameplay here looks better than the actual gameplay of assassins creed or oblivion.

Apparently there isn't any armor, but rather shield upgrades and stuff. From what I've heard, they wont change your appearance.
