Rangers need to let Marc Staal go and sign Kovalchuk. Staal has one pp point in 3 years and has a total of 13-39 for 52 pts in 3 full seasons. Talk about bust! He was supposed to become the offensive d that Del Zotto has become. Also he plays like he is 5-9 160lbs and get owned in the corners every time he plays against Ovechkin. while i agree that eric is the best, and that jordan has all star potential, people underestimate marc's game. he is one of the most fundamentally, defensively talented players in the NHL today, and his offensive game can only improve from here. i wouldnt be surprised to see marc become an allstar calibre defenseman along with his big brothers
