@0fVolfAndMan There are 3 separate particle clouds (3 emitters) with a gravity field attached to each and the particles are made to collide with the surface plane. The particles are keyframed to begin emitting when the object touches the approximate spot of collision. Check out the tutorial mentioned in the Lesterbanks Promo to learn more about the particle cloud effect, it's an awesome tutorial by Pat Imrie on Vimeo.
