this is probably the first time i havent liked adams bass tone, usually the tone he gets is exquisite, but the sound comin out of that p-bass is rather thin and weak compared to his usual sound! and that keyboard sounds crappy too

I think the poster meant to say "Widely considered the best bootleg from Popmart". As in, this show has more energy than the Mexico DVD release. There were most certainly other shows form this tour that were as good or better.

Seen them seven times and have chased up all the live stuff I can.this is the best NYD...the guitar here is cosmic.they vary the mood slightly from tour to tour.go to 2min 45

for vocals on NYD check out slane 2001, the show just near his father's death....that is the vocal parallel of the guitar in this version.....esp at "It's true, it's true, we can break through OR TORN IN TWO WE CAN BE ONE......' - I get misty eyed every time on that one, but the guitar here in Santiago is the best....

10th anniversary of this landmark concert. I attended to this gig and it still gives me goose-bumps.

Without a doubt, best Popmart concert (along with Rotterdam 1997 nights) with the best setlist (Bad and Mothers Od The Disappeared among highlights) and an incredible 70,000 crowd singing every song, every line, every music note.

I hope this concert will be released on the next Pop remastered deluxe edition a la Joshua Tree 20th anniversary. The master audiotapes and betacam master exist.

I love this excitement from the huge crowd! It's like a silent majority from the outside world. It's amazing how U2 can transform ppl to this kind of blazing moment. I wish i was a part of this thrilling moment. I can feel the energy from here.
