To the author of the mid 10 comment, I apologize. I accidently clicked Remove instead of Reply. However, it was a mid to high 9 run. If you watch the launch, it squats right after triggering the sensor. This was the 2nd to last run the car made. The one that followed was a 7.8 or7 .9, if I remember correctly, however, the car did not survive. I should have videos of our other toys this summer.

haha that car is slow as fuck id put it up against my 62 nova any day we ran 10.90 128 in second gear o and id also not run the 200 horse nitrous, its got a 461 big block with 482 heads on it .780 lift can 16:1 compression puts out 750 fb torque and 950 horse without nitrous and thats all in a little two door car that barely weighs 3200 if ur gonna run a heavy car run a bigger motor

Please read my above comment. It might change your perspective a bit. Also, 3,200 is a bit heavier than the Barracuda was. I believe with driver it was less than 2,900. I know it was under 3,000lbs for a fact. Also, it ran a 512cu in big block (440 with, I believe, a 4.25" stroker). It's been a few years since that car made noise but it ran mid 10s all day long, without any nitrous. Maybe this summer we'll run into each other at one of the tracks. We welcome challenges... And loud mouths.

haha the results wont be anywhere near as close, sorry, and it is definatly not 18 grand for a hemi crate motor, the power of the hemi come from its daul overhead cams and its big bore, the 383 couldnt really ever be able to make the same power for the same money, so if your looking to get more bang for your buck, get the hemi even though it isnt that cheap( still not 18 grand lol) it is definatly more power for the money and will last longer, hope that helps in a way: )
