@supashaker1 There should be power requirements for the subwoofer i\f it has a built in amp. You need to look at the amps, and find a power supply very close or more than the required amperage. Yes you can get a 3.5mm audio adapter to left and right rca out adapter or cable and hook it to the amp.
@MrKillabeez2 Yeh true, i remember when i started on eletronics, getting nastey zaps from 240 volts and Capacitors and such, Really hurts xD, but nice video anyways.
@stan464 No problem, but it is a good thing to let people know... This work is not for the average person. Some soldering and electrical experience is required.
i have a 3200 car amp. when i hook up in 300w psu. it is in protect mode. but when i remove the fuse. it becomes normal....help me please to solve this problem,,
@jdbearbasher48 The remote wire must be hooked up to a 12V power source, so if you just have a remote pwr out from the deck, then use that power... otherwise just hook it up to the regular 12V line.
@stan464 I am aware of the safety issues, the enclosure is usually on the power supply, it was just removed to show the power connections and joining of the wires.
Are all the yellow wires 12v ? And can I connect all of them together to get best power ?

@sawmassacre13 yes, especially if you have multiple rails on the power supply,, just remember the more amps the power supply can supply the better!

@vinon3 How many amps does the 12V line on the power supply have? you may want to check out how many amps the car amp requires to run.

im not quite sure, i cant quite figure out how to hook up the remote wire from the amp to the deck? do you somehow have to hook it up to the power?

the amp is running from a PSU....and the cd player from a nother PSU....the amp is turning off when you turning of the cd player??
baszika 1 year ago
@baszika The amp would stay on, I prefer to have a psu for each device (amp, deck) So if one fails it wont take everything down with it.
