  • nice tank!

  • the best thing in this video are those blood shrimps they are so stunning they really pop out and make the aquarium look nicer none the less the colouring you have is drop dead gorgeous

  • once those SPS fill in this will be amazing

  • Very nice its like a dream world. I also like that you have a nice sized aquarium for the fish. It makes me sad to see big fish in small aquariums.

  • real corals?

  • great tank

  • what kind of light do tou use?

  • I feel sorry for the fellow below the tank lol. Trying to eat some food , but cant go up

  • I luv ur tank

  • lovely tank! look amazing once the SPS has grown out

  • how much do you think a tank half that size would cost along with the coral and say maybe 10 glow fish?

  • My jaw was open the whole video! Beautifully kept corals and the fish look very healthy...now that is a reef aquarium to brag about :P

  • @naturexpert101

    Thank you!!

  • So you just use 5 of the reef bright and that's it?

  • @whaticar

    yes

  • this looks awesome.

  • @dunno414

    ty

  • Big money in that tank in corals

  • @jakeryder101

too much!!! lol worse then crack!!

  • Nice Australomussa btw.

  • Once you have the experience its more about money than work. With the equipment and technology nowadays a reef tank can run itself. Even water changes can be made extremely simple by tapping into a reservoir and done with a twist of a valve.

  • reef bright blue?

  • @dejavuga

    blue white and a 50/50

  • whats your lighting specs or bulb types?

  • Are those MP40? I am Just wondering, seems like you have Nice corals there, I see some SPS and LPS but how come there is no single Coralline algae on your tank? how old is this set up?for the tank that looks well established like yours it should have some Coralline algae everywhere, My 225G is only 6 months and i have lots of Coralline algae (purple algae) already.Give us some close ups, Thanks

  • @Balomega

I scrape the glass daily, and 2 mp40's

  • @Reefer831 thanks for your reply

  • AHHMAYYGAAAAWWWDDDD i just had an aquargasm :P

    this tank is SIIIIIIIIIIIICK

  • @nokia6630videos

    lol thanks!!!

  • What kind of lights are you running? You should do a video on your entire set up.

  • @AquaKing21

    reefbright led's...tank is down...upgraded to a 120 with t5's and led combo

  • Beautiful

  • how many gallons is this tank?

  • @rfrfootball

    72

  • thats what im going to aim for, awesome!

  • Ok I will ask u 1 question. I know how to get the Tank started and all that.... I always had a problem with my corals dying off..... Whats the secret to keeping them alive? Water parameters? light? my parameters where pretty steady.... my lighting sucked though....

Generally what are your water parameters and what lighting do u use? I am going to start a new build soon, and looking at ur tank and the color makes tears.... lolz....

    Thank you

  • @ijerryg brosky you gotta maintain perfect ph and have good water quality i mean perfect really. almost no nitrite nitrate amonia and high ph. you also want something like the leds or a metal halide.

  • @Teslasdik THANX! getting a 24 gallon AquaPod going to upgrade to an MH with 2 T5 HO's and Blue LED Moonlights... :)

  • @Teslasdik its so easy to control those parameters, just make some reactors, its cheap and really works, I have perfect water condition in my tank but it took me 4 years to figure out why my tank is not stable and three weeks only to stabilized it for good. cheap PVC reactors that's all it takes

  • @ijerryg

just take your time and spend the money for all the top of the line equipment before you buy all the coral.

  • my fishes all swim to the front when they see me :P

  • Amazing tank!! are these Reef Brite - Blue LEDs??

  • @dannyloskipapi

    2 blue 2 white and 1 50/50

  • Beautiful!

  • Tanks like this with open swimming space are so much better than the 'rock wall' ones.

  • @Thatguywithlogic

    I think so too

  • @Thatguywithlogic rocks helps to keep water parameters more stable and space to hide for some shy sea animals, some people prefers bare bottom and some prefers sand bed, i like reefer831 corals scaping

  • @Balomega At a certain point it becomes overkill and DSB are known to cause tank crashes over time. With all the action going on in his tank I didn't even notice the lack of sand.

With algae scrubbers, protein skimmers and the like so long as you don't change anything your tank is going to remain relatively stable, hence massive amounts of rock and sand being completely unnecessary.

  • What are you feeding? Mysis? Very sweet tank! Lots of dough dropped on this bad boy!!!! WELL WORTH IT!!!!

  • @Jerth6932

thanks!! I feed a lot of different stuff.

  • @Jerth6932

I think in this video I was feeding prawn eggs

  • How many leds do u have and are they actinic or full spectrum white

  • @TOXIC8o3o1

    5...2 blue, 2 whites and 1 50/50

  • Damn what a beautiful tank! Makes me want to get into stoney corals. What lights are you running?

  • @KKOOMMOORR

Thank you...the lights are reef bright LED's

  • Beautiful :) I only started my reef about 5 months ago. But I really enjoy the hobby. Definitely takes a lot of work to keep everything in order!

  • @WHSpartanBabe09

yes it is a lot of work.

  • wow very impressive. bigger tank soon?

  • @pnavarro170

just started up a 120 rimless

  • beautiful display of color my friend, well done...

  • @jwalker43081

    Thank you!

  • Nice tank

  • @paddlefoot07

    Thanks!!!
