So your argument re: reproduction is entirely flawed. - I would also add that we're over populating the planet as it is - so if 10 to 15 percent of the population are gay and not reproducing - they may actually helping things out. I worked with Priests and Brothers when I was a boy and a bunch of other boys. We played and ate together too. There was a lot of embracing and patting on the back and some solo couselling. St. Thomas Aquinas was right, but he was talking about the human nature. St. Thomas never used the same argument in regard to sin, which by virtue of its condition goes AGAINST human nature. It amazes me how some people manage to rationalize this into some form of a reasonable conclusion of tying Christian with homosexuality. The two are completely oil and water. They will never mix. It is solely our choice whether we respect that- or abuse it and go the other way. Sex is a gift from God- problem is, today, that gift has also been abused by homosexual ways and other ways of fornication.

Science still can't sufficiently explain a substantial amount of things. The poor excuse, "being gay is hard-wired into us" is pathetic. How has science proven it actually is? If it is, then why isn't everyone in the world gay? Sorry, but there needs to be some more evidence to back that statement up.

St. Thomas Aquinas was right, but he was talking about the human nature. St. Thomas never used the same argument in regard to sin, which by virtue of its condition goes AGAINST human nature. In other words, sin is against the grace of God and our very human condition. Moral Catholic is difficult enough without using it to condone what is clearly sinful (homosexual acts).
BTW, I don't remember Fr. Coleman using this argument to justify homosexuality in his Human Sexuality course...

I don't identify myself as a gay person, but I do as a Catholic. I can't help but tear up every time I read something about Fr. Farrow and what he did. He stepped up and spoke up and like he said it cost him dearly. He has been excommunicated and that makes me sad. I am part of this religion because of what it teaches: acceptance and tolerance not the way most of us behave. Unfortunately most of us do not practice what we preach. Fr. Farrow merely pointed it out and practices what he preaches.
