Im glad my kids didnt have to go through what i saw.

my mom was scared my brother wouldnt return from school

during that time.

My stepdad never got to see the FMLN win though he was one of the leaders

he fought like a hero even when wounded.

Goes to show after 20 years they finally won.

Really sad movie..never seen my dad cry until we saw the movie together. Mom too...she was a child during that time also. So she remembers all the gun fire at night and the bombs.

This film, is the most touching film I've ever seen. This film really show what and how the boys felt. Allways afraid that they would be picked up by the army.

Where the 2boys get a shot it the neck brought me to tears.

Extremly thouching film. I didn't sleep much the night I watched it. Couldn't stop thinking of that face expression when the first boy was shot. All in one, this is the best film I've ever seen, and I recommend it to anyone. 11 out if 10 stars :)

I was born in El Salvador and lived there fro most of the Civil War period. I did see a lot of stuff like this, but the film presents a very biased picture. They do not show all the atrocities committed by the commies. Yes, the government did commit brutal acts, but the commies also did the same. shame on movie producers who do not tell the truth to the people.

I'm sad because of all troubles your country and compatriots went through, but I'm glad that there exists independent movie production which is able to convey real war impressions to the audience, not empty Hollywood stories... I also experienced what civil war means (living almost four years in the middle of civilian war in Bosnia and Herzegovina), so I just recognized true life-story of "Innocent Voices" movie.
