@1pie12 You can't downgrade a PSP 2000 TA-88v3+ or 3000. This will only work if you didn't update.

I have a PSP Slim 2000 w/ a version of 5.03 and I have no luck in installing chickhen till now...

I have already done the following:

a.went to photos.wait 2 seconds then pressed enter to open the chickhen folder,Scroll down and wait for it to reboot....

Ive been doing all of this for almost 3 days and I haven't get to the part wherein the screen will turn green with lines all over it....

Any additional steps that I have missed out in doing to install chickhen firmware, Please advice me... Tnx!

@etodesune If you have a PSP 2000 you need to do it defferent I said that in the discription but people are to lazy to even look there, try this: If you have PSP 2000 then go to pictures wait for the egg to show in the box of the ChickHEN folder then enter it and after that do nothing. (DO NOT SCROLL DOWN!)

@ninjastick5 What PSP do you have? if you have a PSP 3000 then you need to use my trick or scroll all the way down, but if you have a PSP 2000 then you need to enter the folder and wait at the top. That might help.

@hbkovi89 dude thats not the version of your mobo you can check if you have the right mobo by removing the battery and look at the date code if it says 8c then u need to use this hack otherwise u need a pandora battery (don't realy have to because this wuill work on all mobos even the PSP GO if it was downgradable).

Well when I do that it says its not hacked but I run through all the steps to get Gen-c (enable HEN) then when I press Gen-c in my games on my memory stick I don't have to reflash it to my memory. It stayed flashed.

no the newer motherboards are not hackable (till now) so u can't have pernament CFW u have to put your PSP in sleep mode if you don't want to do the ChickHEN thing again and again
