why do drums have to be incredibly complicated in order to be "great?" as long as the drummer creates a beat that is their own style and matches the aura of the song, then why criticize so much? @Tornadoarmenta I'd say a large portion of YouTubers live with their parents because they are still in highschool or whatever.. You can't assume everybody on YouTube is on their own. He is where he is, not because he is good (hence the reason people hate him), but because they make catchy music and people happen to notice some retard flinging his arms in the air doing nothing for him. why do drums have to be incredibly complicated in order to be "great?" as long as the drummer creates a beat that is their own style and matches the aura of the song, then why criticize so much? Some of the best songs are so simple, because any more than that and they wouldn't be as great. He's doing what he loves, so why hate.

oh my, is he drunk or something? his licks are ok and some are awesome, but unfortunately, he is not synced with the song. that's what makes this solo sound noisy. BUT @ 2:14 he's already synced and doing fine with nice fills also. keep it up and do it better next time Travis Barker. you are still an awesome drummer in your own way.

I dont know why drummers get mad at travis barker. I mean, he definately is the best drummer but the reason he got popular is that hes a main-stream preformer. I mean, im positive their are other drummers in the world that put on a better show while incorperating skill. But like I said, he's a "main-stream" preformer. i would sooner see Blink 182 than this shit. and that is saying something. He has no feeling or natural touch and feel. He is good in Blink. I am a drummer and I hate doing drum solos when asked to because I am not Aaron Spears or Royster Jr etc I am a basic solid rock drummer. I sleep ok at night. but I would NEVER EVERRRRR do a clinic. Get my fancy kit up there, get some wacky punk hair do, flashy tattoos and play this bullshit, NO WAY. How can he not know he is just ok at drums?
