All animals should have a cage to eat and sleep in. This is more like their "nest". They also MUST have a cage if you need to put them up in case you have a visitor or if they need to be alone, without human interaction; too much stimulation. Monkeys and primates need naps and need to be able to "get away" and be alone in peace too.

Having this type of animal without a cage at all is irresponsible and shows a severe lack of knowledge of how to care for exotic animals.

I've never heard of pet marmosets. This one looks healthy and happy. And very cute!
