Last summer, gas prices in NYC were at a ridiculous record high. Ranging from $4.39 (Reg.) to $4.79 (Super). Thank god they've fallen down to almost $2.00 less.
those prices were lovely back then. i have seen gas in nj as low as $1.91. i am loving it. i still can't afford to go anywhere except work. well at least i have a job.
I had just bought my beloved 1986 Prelude-si and was thrilled that I could fill the tank with premium at 88 cents a gallon.

Problem was in 1986 the Saudis were pumping more oil than the OPEC quota requirement thus the market was over flooded.
