ok i ref ball hockey i do like it but ppl have to understand wht it is no one is gonna make it big and to keep it fun but they act like its the NHL and make themselves look like assholes tht is my ONLY complaint bout this sport

I run a hell of alot faster then I skate so I love ball hockey lol, of course i love watching ice hockey on t.v but playing ball hockey is a hell of alot easier for someone like me who never grew up playing hockey i cant just join a league now so why not play something like ball hockey that i can just jump into whenever i feel like it

im a floor hockey goalie, and i love to play. ofcourse i dont play outside i play in a gym.

my goalie equipment is all ice hockey equipment.

as a goalie in ball hockey, u have to build an endurance to the heat. of couse being from saskatchewan its usally cold lol

i play ball hockey and ice hockey in edmonton now if u guys saw ball hockey in edmonton u would want to play we play in sports centres whit smooth concrete indoors there is some contact so u need a helmet. but in edmonton ball hockey isn't just for fun we take it seriously

I play ice hockey and i love it. The season is over now and me and my buddies joined up a ball hockey league and it is sick. Playing outdoors in the summertime is awesome, with minimal equipment relieves all that extra weight, can move around more freely and just be loose without dealing with equipment issues when they arise

come on.. So you say Bolt earned hi skills for sprinting in everyday life? Come on, thats poor logic. U need to work out just as hard for running than skating. Go play a game with serious ball hockey players, and i garantuee you they can run much faster than you can.

when u play at a high level of ice hockey it is harder because u have to keep ur feet moving at all times.

having played both, i have to agree that ball hockey is a much more physically challenging sport. skating is a much easier way to get around IMO

if you playy ball hockey

youll find it alot harder, because you will get tired way faster because your running

in ice hockey you can just skate your way down the ice

i dont get why u dudes bash ball hockey. not everyone can afford up to date ice hockey gear. especially older men whos gear doesnt fit anymore from when they played as a kid, but just wanna play hockey without dropping tons of cash for gear.

now as for me i play both. theres no wrong way to play hockey.

I have played ball hockey against some of the NHL players they love it they use it as work out in the summer, I play a high level I've travelled all over the States, its bigger than you think, and guess what 99% of them play Ice hockey

crossbar is right, I only play tier 2/3 ball hockey and have played against NHLer's. They are pretty damn good at ball hockey too! I'm from Canada btw, and ball hockey is big (as is ice hockey!!).
