I hate when people decide to fill up the comments section on any Ferrari video with shit about corvettes and GTR's. The fact is, none of you have ever driven them let alone this Scuderia and you probably never will! Just because they're cheaper, doesn't mean they're automatically better than this gorgeous car! If you assholes weren't so stupid, you'd know that any car enthusiast embraces cars from all over; they don't praise to out of bang for your buck. Fuck all who did so.
Why do people always argue Euro, Japanese, or American cars are best? I find it hard to believe that true car lovers would limit themselves to one style of car! I like classic Aussie cars (VF valiant, HK gts monaro), but I also love European, Japanese and American cars! I'd be just as happy to walk out to my garage and find a gt3 rs, as I would a 67 camaro, NSX, M3, F430, P1800, viper gts etc. I'm not saying they are equal, just that many different cars have an appeal! Why not enjoy them!
Itube8040 - Agreed. I think most who always compare it to American cars are surely biased ppl who can't even afford a Z06 thenselves. People with chevy's have daily 5 figure jobs. Most people with exotics make 6 figures or get a deal on a nice 04 Gallardo or 360/modena for under 100k.
Very Expensive just to have let alone drive the damn thing. Insurance is super high for it, Gas is premium, and repair costs are like paying for college. I'd rather buy Corvette ZR1. They are louder and built stronger, and will LAST longer then any F430 period. =^)

to me the enzo is a bit of a shame. they should have called it the fxx and the fxx the enzo because the fxx is a real achievement were as the enzo is has all the technology packed into it slowing it down so its being beaten by lower end models.
lets be real here the base price for a zr1 is 103k(a car they compare to the enzo ) the base price for a f430 is 170k for a z06 75k , add 70 to a 100k to the price tag the quality would go up tremendously the brand name is part of the reason its not taken seriously, i love ferraris but they are built to cost money enzo ferrari himself didnt give a shit about his road cars , its sad to see a millionaire sell his ferrari with 6800 miles on it , when the corvette guy is gonna be pushing 180000

A spring is a spring! Leaf spings last's FAR longer than coils and allow more trunk space and lower stance.
Please kids you can't compare something like this with a tank like the GTR or a leaf sprung truck engined crapper like the ZO6. The handling (not grip) and driver/car synergy of something like this is in another world. That's what your're paying for...
Z06 MIGHT actually be faster. However, Z06 is a GM product. Radio/AC knobs tend to fall off, leather is of poor quality, and the American building reeks of sloppiness.

@KonigNick Actually it's sad but it kind of is, the Z06 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, F430 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds. Also the F430 costs 3 times more than the Z06. F430 is beautiful though.

Its pretty stripped down. (no carpet, not radio, etc). I think the "scuderia" is the option as opposed to a normal F430. I'm not 100% on that but it wouldn't make sense to add options and weight to the Scuderia so I'm gonna guess little to no options? Thanks for the other comment too. I love Ferrari.

Sorry, Fail. ZR1 takes all, including your scuderia, all its missing is a sequential gearbox. As a matter of fact, Porsche incorporates a lot of technology from it's race cars in to their road cars, and bugatti has F1 inspired technology in it as well (gearbox). Only thing ferrari has that no one else is its gearbox, which shifts like hell but is still very docile for traffic condition

First of all, he might have realized of a better way to take a turn some months after testing lets say the Enzo, so he should re take the test with the Enzo? No, its a TV show, and what they do to test the cars is very limited and SHOULD NOT be taken as official figures, dang it.
As someone said, given 2 cars, one person can do better with 1 and someone else could do better with the other.
this is where you're wrong...in terms of "scientiffic" testing, the TG way is more accurate then the ring...its always the same track with mostly the same conditions and the same driver...on the ring its NEVER the same driver, not always simmilar conditions and alot of pre-production setting and adjusting...
at TG they drive the finished cars, on the ring they drive prototypes which are adjusted and tweaked...making the resoults non-empyrical and thus invalid
Look woman, I told you and I'll tell you again, the same man wont handle all the cars the same. He might get a great feel out of a Zonda and let an Enzo slide like a drift car. Someone else could not handle a Zonda worth shit and blast the asphalt with an Enzo.
Also lets take into account that the Zonda F and all the others who were faster than the enzo were mostly "customer" cars... means small companies who do a chassis around an engine and there you go. The Scuderia is made in numbers
you're still wrong...the point of lap times is experimental testing and compairing data...
for that the circumstances have to be the same or as close as the same every time, they have to be repeatable and the test subjects have to be on the same standard...
only then do you get valid comparable data...
these are the principles of any kind of test work...you'd know if you paid attention in school
the only differences in TG testing are the caracteristics of the individual cars and thats valid
the Stig is a professional driver who drives cars for a living arround that track for almost 8 years now...he is as close to a driving robot as you can get...
therefore, the TG times are relevant...the margains are there, but their within the acceptable limits...
the Nurburgring times are complete wank because car makers bring prototypes to the track and test them there...their not valid resoults
please stop arguing about cars you will probably never get or drive!

if any of you forza fans are watching this is did a test of which car would be faster the results:(Mazda Laguna seca)
1. Ferrari 430 Scuderia; with a lap time of
1:28.184, and a total time of
3;26.085
2. Ferrari Enzo; with a lap time of
1:27.565 with a +.300 sec penatly a total time of
3:23.264
Now the 430 was very easy to slide with 503 hp and wieghing in at 2,975 pounds.
The Enzo however was had a midly understeer to it with 651hp and weighing in at 3,254 pounds.

im a ferrari lover but i also like the newest gen corvettes. the zr1 is a very cool car, but the damn hood glass is so corny and stupid. lol the ferrari glass hood is actually large so you can see through it, and theres something to see. the vette all u see is 1'x1' and a tiny bit of writing. still, well done on the handling and powerplant in the vette, but the ferrari has to take it. it's a ferrari. classic.

Its pretty stripped down. (no carpet, not radio, etc). I think the "scuderia" is the option as opposed to a normal F430. I'm not 100% on that but it wouldn't make sense to add options and weight to the Scuderia so I'm gonna guess little to no options? Thanks for the other comment too. I love Ferrari.

-Vette is priced way better
-Ferrari has their amazing interior and legendary name.
I think Ferrari gets the class advantage on this one but the Scuderia and ZR1 are two of my favorite cars ever. I would be more than happy driving either one.

Sorry, Fail. ZR1 takes all, including your scuderia, all its missing is a sequential gearbox. As a matter of fact, Porsche incorporates a lot of technology from it's race cars in to their road cars, and bugatti has F1 inspired technology in it as well (gearbox). Only thing ferrari has that no one else is its gearbox, which shifts like hell but is still very docile for traffic condition

First of all, he might have realized of a better way to take a turn some months after testing lets say the Enzo, so he should re take the test with the Enzo? No, its a TV show, and what they do to test the cars is very limited and SHOULD NOT be taken as official figures, dang it.
As someone said, given 2 cars, one person can do better with 1 and someone else could do better with the other.

this is where you're wrong...in terms of "scientiffic" testing, the TG way is more accurate then the ring...its always the same track with mostly the same conditions and the same driver...on the ring its NEVER the same driver, not always simmilar conditions and alot of pre-production setting and adjusting...
at TG they drive the finished cars, on the ring they drive prototypes which are adjusted and tweaked...making the resoults non-empyrical and thus invalid

Look woman, I told you and I'll tell you again, the same man wont handle all the cars the same. He might get a great feel out of a Zonda and let an Enzo slide like a drift car. Someone else could not handle a Zonda worth shit and blast the asphalt with an Enzo.
Also lets take into account that the Zonda F and all the others who were faster than the enzo were mostly "customer" cars... means small companies who do a chassis around an engine and there you go. The Scuderia is made in numbers

you're still wrong...the point of lap times is experimental testing and compairing data...
for that the circumstances have to be the same or as close as the same every time, they have to be repeatable and the test subjects have to be on the same standard...
only then do you get valid comparable data...
these are the principles of any kind of test work...you'd know if you paid attention in school
the only differences in TG testing are the caracteristics of the individual cars and thats valid

the Stig is a professional driver who drives cars for a living arround that track for almost 8 years now...he is as close to a driving robot as you can get...
therefore, the TG times are relevant...the margains are there, but their within the acceptable limits...
the Nurburgring times are complete wank because car makers bring prototypes to the track and test them there...their not valid resoults
