  • the jews are behind this

  • erm umm ahm erm uhh ahh ahm hmm...

  • Seth MacFarlaine missed AA flight 11

  • @ChristewieTV that really is a shame.

  • @ChristewieTV That's true. He was hungover. Beer saves lives.

  • @ChristewieTV really? omg

  • hes better off missing things be late be lazy

  • hes gonna be part of a real life version of Final Destination

  • @Spitfire995 omg lol

  • UMMM UMMM UMMM UMMMM

  • this is why good TV stations do a pre-interview so you can get your answers straight before you interview a person who typically doesnt get interviewed much. If it was me, i would just be trying to make sure my answers were honest as much as respectful of the people who lost their lives on that flight.

  • that was a lucky day

  • uhm

    uhm

    uhm

    ahm

    uhm

  • wow. Sometimes the difference between life and death is so completely random. My Dad was in WW II and has several stories like this. So completely random.

  • Its finaly destination 1 No offence just reminds me

  • @Chineseninja7

    *offense

  • Why do this? He plays no significant role in the crash and he is addressing the families of the dead as if he is the CEO of Continental Airlines.

This makes no sense and I don't mean to pick on the guy, but this is stupid.

  • why does everyone fight in comments? I don't understand :/ for those who are standing up for a good reason. Good for you. Seriously why do people act like idiots and bring others down. This is an emotional video. No need for that.

  • Paul, this is your new birthday. I missed American Flight 191 in 1979 and 31 years later I still think of it. That day my life changed forever. Every new day is like a bonus for me. It really started to sink in a few years after the event. Now I feel like I got away with something! I hope it works for you. I am sad for the people who were not as lucky as you and me.

  • this proves the plane was remote controlled.

  • hes crying, i can hear dat in his voice......

  • @rajivkrishnatr no his not u retard

  • Man that would give me PTSD.

  • sometimes its good to miss a plane like in this promblm and sometimes its bad say you missed a flight to phildelphia that landed safe you got on the next plane but that plane crashed

  • like those 9/11 people.

p.s. he says umm and uhh alot

  • If I was him, i'd go buy a lottery ticket

  • This is a solid guy. Being lucky aside, he is genuinely sincere with his grieving, you can see it in his face and hear it in his voice. Hope he got counseling because those nasty feelings of guilt will always get you when something like this happens.

  • That was so close! He could've been killed! He's so close to ending his life! Whew to him!

  • that guy says UMMmm ALOT

  • he is soooooooooooooooooo lucky

  • i couldn't sleep because of the sirens...

  • i lived close to where this happened. and moved just a few months before. getting this text from my friend was terrifying.

  • Boy.... always......count your lucky stars. It's times like that you believe in Guardian Angels

  • where were the guardian angels for everyone else on board? what an arrogant statement.

  • I meant that in the least arrogant way. Why would I try to be arrogant in a situation like this? Stop trying to pick a youtube battle because you know exactly what I meant.

  • the ones on the plane..their guardian angels guided them home to God & our savior Jesus Christ..it was their time to go home.

  • What about any non-Christians, atheists, and/or unrepentant sinners on board? Doesn't conventional Christianity say they are now all in HELL?

  • @jazzkeyboardman Yes--what's your point?

  • @TheEye22 it would be very helpful to me if you could tell me which of my comments on this video you are referring to........then, I could explain exactly what my point is.

  • Many times we escape certain death, sometimes by mere nanoseconds. Some of us are never made aware of JUST HOW CLOSE we came to checking out of this life. It can be quite overwhelming to express yourself when faced with your own mortality. I found it interesting that he could manage to speak at all. What a tragedy.

  • The sound from the reporter was delayed so he read her questions from a teleprompter... asshole!!!

  • Educate yourself before you open up your mouth!!!

  • oh well my bad sorry, but can you please explain why he keeps saying umm?

  • @MrGizzardinHD Ever do a live interview? It ain't easy! I dare you to do it and not once say, "Umm."

  • The funny thing is, after he is done talking the anchor says uhhh three times in a row. It must be contagious.

  • Its True!

  • Yeah, the "umm" every other word does get very irritating. On the other hand, maybe he was just a bit flustered being on tv in front of millions of people. He is one lucky guy, regardless. And he seems very kind and nice.

  • i just wanna say - um, that is all.

  • I can't believe the people here who pick on this guy for saying "um" a lot. He was traumatized, emotional, and on live TV. Do you think you would speak eloquently in a situation like that?

His life was spared for a reason, and I hope he is able to cope with this. I really feel for him. I hope the families of those who were lost, are able to find peace as well. A terribly sad accident for everyone.

  • If you believe his life was spared for some reason, you can't very well call the crash an accident. Thats the trouble with religion...v_v

  • @AGreatAmerican80 Yes. His life was spared for a reason. The reason being that he missed the flight.

  • CBS and the all seeing eye.

  • sounds like the beginning to a plot by "Final Destination". I suspect he will die in some freak way.

  • 00:48 also i wanna say hi to everyone that was involved

  • i live 5 min drive and 20 min walk near the crash...i was rrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaallllly scared

  • What a blessing Paul..I'm sure it must have been very very hard on you regardless..that you missed that flight..

    On your family, and friends..

I grew up in Lockport NY..went to UB..

  • xD

    o' Canada

    O Israel

    lol xD

    anyways

    the ummm count xD

  • Why was it in autopilot?, maybe he was getting LUCKY:)!!!! The only reason I can see why they would bend the rules a bit. Its not like he didn't know the rules with his experience. She was pretty hot!!!!

  • was 3407 the one that landed on the hudson river?

  • no, it was one that landed on a house near Buffalo, New York. 44 passengers, 4 airplane people, and 1 person near that house.

  • all those ppl who say he shouldnt be a "star" he didnt ask for any of this he missed his flight and they talked to him.

  • I think all of you are going to be surprised when you find out what actually happened. The autopilot was tracking the localizer and the glideslope. There have been internal memo's at a certain major airline regarding the glideslope at Buffalo. What happened to the Colgan flight was actually exactly what had been happening to other flights. Combine this with the icing and it led to a fatal accident... Don't be too quick to blame the pilots here...

  • hes is really lucky

  • every time he says umm drink a shot

  • You'd be shity drunk

  • yea you would for sure lol

  • count how times paul says umm?

  • You must be a Toastmaster.

  • thank God you did not take that flight..truly a blessing..hang in there..

  • lucky

  • that incident on flight 3407 was entirely preventable. Pilot made a very serious error. I honestly can't believe that we were dealing with tired pilots, but I wouldn't rule it out. To follow improper procedure on final approach led to the unfortunate crash. Plane was working fine and at too low of a speed and pilot failed to recover properly. Bigger question is should they have been flying that night and how long were they working that day?

  • We love ya Paul. All of your friends are here for you in this hard time. And for those of you that leave stupid comments probably have never lived in a community such as Western New York. We have a family and friend centered community here. The families and of this tragedy are still in a mourning period (that includes my friend Paul). Show a little respect and be human for once in your life. Thank you

  • well what really gets to me are pilots that commit fatal errors. It was just released that the pilot made a very fatal error increasing power and pulling the plane up instead of tilting the nose down to gain spd. The plane was at too low of a speed and I'm wondering if we were dealing with tired or inexperienced pilots.

Just to mess up like that on final approach and also following improper procedure having the plane on autopilot is starting to make me question both pilots in that cockpit.

  • Just to point out, people miss their flights all the time. I wouldn't treat Paul as some national star. He's lucky and good that he is still alive, but I wouldn't prop him up on national TV as it is also normal for people to miss their flights. I'm more focused around the two pilots right now and if they should have been flying that evening.

  • who's saying he's a national star? MANY people miss their flights, but only a few miss flights that actually crash.

because of that, i think it does make an interesting story

  • He looks like george michael on arrested development.

  • what's the deal with his hair?

  • Lucky fucker lol

  • Bless his heart. I had a friend in college who was the only survivor of a horrible car crash. 3 of his closest friends died, he survived. It took him a LONG time to get over it, so to speak. Give this guy a break. He is shocked and stunned and still trying to process the fact that if he'd been on-schedule, he'd be dead right now. Wouldn't we ALL be feeling that way? Kinda makes ya think twice about delays and stuff like that...maybe it has saved your life. And perhaps you didn't even know it!

  • reminds me of that movie FINAL DESTINATION

  • One lucky guy. How many of us have sat in a plane while they sprayed it down with de-icer only to take off 10 minutes later and never think anything about it. Makes you really stop and think. Maybe its a long drive but.....

  • WATCH THE MOVIE FINAL DESTINATION

  • YOU NEED TO WATCH

    FITNA THE MOVIE:

    v=5kcev1K-NOc

    VERY SERIOUS SHIT.

  • i wish i´d be so lucky

  • michael8725, you a typical evil-republican. This young man is hurting, and dozens of people have senselessly died in a tragic plane crash and YOU make light of this tragedy. How pathetic and evil you people are. What a terrorist of a human being you must be. What kind of black heart you must have to make a joke, after watching this video. Americans know that you folks are sickos. You have again made that point clear as can be. Baffoon.

  • idk what your talking about. and im not a sicko i watched media coverage till 2 in the mourning when this happened. i care about the people who died and i care about their family. but this guy still has his life!!!! this guy still has his family!!!! so shut up madartist01

  • You said what you said, and that makes millions of those that just read you pathetic comment want to tell you to jump off a cliff.

Backtracking on what you wrote won't work. That dog won't run.

Make up whatever excuse you want, but your comments were gutless, insensitive, and amoral. You are a terrorist-Republican monster.

  • michael8725 offers no words of condolence to the families, no comment of sadness, other than to be that typical Republican-amoral piece of trash that makes this tragedy, or any tragedy, into some political joke.

No apology for your insensitivity. Nothing. Zero.

And now you're worried that others may find you a scumbag for doing what you did. Some of your GOP friend may find your comment funny. I dont.

I suppose you stay up late to watch tragedies so you can make jokes of. You sicko.

  • Dumb polak.

  • When he found out it was his plane I bet he was like "Whew, I'm fuckin lucky."

  • like have you ever seen final destination. imagine you have a vision of you died in a plane crash, it was just a dream, you just want to get off the plane and you did and then you saw it.

  • everyone needs to calm the fuck down , he can't help if he is saying umm so much . he fucking terrified right now i be doing the same shit .

  • @missinglostsoul AGreatAmerican80 covered that for more peacefull ppl! :)

  • omfg quit saying ummm........ gosh

  • this is probably the ONLY instance of flight security saving a live since 9/11

  • why is the early show even wasting time looking into this guy who missed the flight. People miss their flights all the time for one reason or the next. I'm more concerned on why the plane went down as the plane's de-icing system was working properly. The only thing found out is that the pilots violated regulations keeping the plane on autopilot so this whole incident could very well be pilot error. Won't know that for sure until more info is released in the ongoing investigation.

  • Yahoo page just showed a report that the flight was in autopilot shortly before it crashed. Which is against flight regulations in the weather they were in. Not sure how that would make them crash though.

  • This was pointed out by someone else on a different post that it could've had something to do with the speed of the plane on final approach. If the plane was on auto, then it could've been possible that autopilot could not adjust the speed of the plane fast enough to prevent a stall under extreme icing conditions. I'm uncertain as to how autopilot would work on a final approach or its limitations. Either it was pilot error or equipment failure. Won't know until more info is released.

  • This video was one second too long. :(

  • death will come for him just like in final destination... You cant escape death.

  • lol

  • no not really. he missed his flight due to a late connection. Happens all the time. This guy should not even have been interviewed.

  • Stop taking movies seriously.

    Go outside.

Breathe some FRESH AIR. GET OUT OF YOUR BASEMENT.

  • I can't imagine the panic and hysteria that was going on in the last few minutes in that airplane. Horrible!

  • lucky man !

  • OMG WOW THIS IS INCREDIBLE.

The illuminatie NWO zionist secret service must have warned him!!!

    ZOMGGGG.

  • I bet this guy's family warned him on time or made excuses for him to change his flight.

  • CIA did this; many activists and people know too much about the corruption of USA government.

  • Why don't you assholes fuck off. After you've been through an ordeal like that, try going on national TV, then you can talk

  • Shut up moron!! What do you know about this guy or what he is going thru?? I bet if that were you in his place giving the interview, the talk show host would interrupt the show at least a few times cause the smell of you wetting and pooping your pants would reach the studios and they wouldn't be able to continue the interview... and I'm not talking about what the camera man would have to go thru... go back to your parents basement and suck your mommy's tits, that's the only thing you're good at!

  • Behave Yourself you pussy i'd rather suck ur nans tits then my 'mommy's' your lack of our ENGLISH language offends me more then this video. Hahaha you Faggot

  • Well I'm sure my nans tits are better than your mommy's and that's you'd rather suck on them, but there are two reasons why you will never be able to do that:

    1. The milk on your lips from sucking your mommy's tits hasn't dried up yet

    and

    2. When the nanny sees your ugly face, I'm pretty sure she will have a heart attack and throw up in the process..

    Moron...

  • Lmao, yes your nans milk does taste a little dried up but still good enough to drink ;) I was also Gonna take her up the ass untill i seen her anal warts!

    Pussy boy

  • LOL OMFG funniest argumaent i ever saw.

  • LMFAO

  • Final Destination movie in real life. wow

  • then he better watch his back lol...

Don't ride any rollercoasters bud, or go into a tanning booth or take the subway or drive on the freeway...

  • I can't stand this either =S

  • I can't stand that either, and it seems so common these days. It's especially annoying when the person is someone who often speaks to the public, whether it be a government official, reporter, etc. But watching this makes me realize that anyone who constantly ahhs and uhhms can be extremely annoying!!! ARGH!

  • "The Man Who Missed The Flight" is a title I usually avoid, but with all the air tragedies I think people are slowing down a little bit more, which is better for all the security and just the overall mood of an airport.
