got a problem with my bike would really apriciated a fast reply!! got a 2003 yz 125 and im pretty sure the fork seals are leaking but when i hold in the front breaks and push down they dont return properly. what could this be? how much is it gonna be to fix? and apparently its had a top and bottom rebuilt but its making a sorta taping noice from he top end area.
well with your fork, if its leaking oil then obviously its not gona return properly, so what Id do is take it to a shop and get the suspension re charged and get the fork seals replaced. As for the top end, if the guy before you rebuilt it, did he break it in properly? or did he put a new piston in it and pin it down the road first ride? NEVER, i repeat NEVER go hard on a bike with a brand new top end. lol

i made the mistake of finding a cheap yz and snapping it up straight away, the guy didnt look after it lol, new top end after a couple of months, new steel re-sleeve in the barrel, too damaged for a re-bore/re-plating. just had new front brake pads + seals, they were shagged. spark plug was fouled, its due new front wheel bearings, the front wheel has a lot of movement from left to right, may last one more ride, im picking up a new stand tuesday so will get some bearings while im there.

that sucks dude. I know what you meen. When i got my first ATV i was so excited and bought a chinese piece of shit, it ended up exploding on me, literally blew a hole in the bottom of the case. Sometimes excitement gets the best of you. The carb may just need a good cleaning though. And the wheel bearing isnt too much. Too bad i didnt make this video before you bought it :(

that sucks dude. I know what you meen. When i got my first ATV i was so excited and bought a chinese piece of shit, it ended up exploding on me, literally blew a hole in the bottom of the case. Sometimes excitement gets the best of you. The carb may just need a good cleaning though. And the wheel bearing isnt too much. Too bad i didnt make this video before you bought it :(
