  • You got almost everything wrong in this video... you do not have quad core, you have single core, you have a 2.8GHz Pentium 4, and the 90 nanometer is the process technology, and the cache size is 1 MB. You have 1 core and 1 thread... weird on a Prescott codename Pentium 4.

  • hey I have a dual core processor, I was wondering why I could load two operating systems XD I'd love to see you in the street, you'd never make another shitty video again.

  • test

  • A interesting exercise is not installing this software, but making them. But thanks anyway for your work explaining the CPUID program.

For linux users all this information is in a file descriptor named /proc/cpuid

To see the information just call cat /proc/cpuid

    :D

  • Interesting

  • yea the pentium 4 is most definately a single core processor. The 4 in pentium 4 is just the number in the line of single core processors they have developed over the years then moving to pentium dual core to core duo and then into the I-core series.

  • Ok i looked this over and im pretty sure we have the same computer, yet urs looks reasonably fast, and mine can't handle minecraft and lags when i TRY to open microsoft word. It does not even run internet anymore and its just overall pathetic. Any ideas why this might be? Ive done all the defragging and deleting programs bullshit they tell me about. It does nothing i think its just aol and adverts trying to pretend theyre smart. Im probably going to buy a new computer but if u have any ideas...

  • thanks for the xp key

  • rofl, I laugh at my computer specs: Intel Atom D410 @ 1,66GHz, Intel NM10 Express chipset, Intel GMA3150 Graphics Controller, 160GB SATA-300 @ 5400 rpm, 1GB DDR2 RAM. My laptop isn't much better I suppose XD

  • I got:

    -intel core2 duo e7300 2.66GHz

-PC3-16000 "Trident" KIT 6144MB DDR III 2000 MHz

    -Nvidia GeForce GTX 470

  • @blazko35 overkill for your little dual core :P

  • Yeah, Ik man, getting a new processor, Intel i5 760, will need a new motherboard, and 8GB of 1333mhz DDR3

  • Is this allright for gaming? 4GB of DDR2 800Mhz RAM, Ati Radeon HD 4870 1GB, Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.5Ghz OC'd to 3,38Ghz

  • you really put your serial in there, wow good luck

  • how do i know what my Product family is on this??

  • Very good instructions, especially for me as I don't know computer language at all, or how to keep my old one running. I have a question but don't know if I can ask it. You can write me at my email. How can I give my computer more physical space? I'm at the end of my physical but I have like 70% of regular space. I have a Dell computer but a Compaq hard drive or modem. I don't know if that is the problem. I already tried Task Mgr. Everything running on it is not mine. So what should I do?

    Laura

  • can you play mw2 on your pc

  • @dedoman100 no, i dont even have a video card.

  • comhelper HELP! where can i find that i have a dual core or quad core it doesnt show it on cpuid send me a private message plz... dont look at my typing im dutch xD

  • You just have to goto RUN in start menu and type

dxdiag and then hit ok then it will show everything without the hassel!

  • how would i lower my specs to get less lagg and better quality for my computer games like shadowrun.

  • Does it monitor temps, what do I use for that?

  • OH THAT HELPED MUCH MORE

  • i know this thing i used it to check if i could make a virtual mac but it did not work because my computer was not sse2. i also made it portable

  • lol, cool. I was thinking about making it portable...just not sure if I wanted to.
