i remember playing this mission with an f-117. i didnt expect the last part with the dogfight and i was very damaged at that moment. also i had full difficulty. it was a nightmare. but i emerged victorious!!!!!!!!!

Namco released Ace Combat 4, Ace Combat 5 and Ace Combat Zero on PS2.

Ace Combat 4 is by far the best Ace Combat game IMO.

4 had a nice story line of a civilian, and 5 had a nice story line by far.

4 was really awesome because of its awesome style...3rd person narrative of boy covering the events was beautiful...and so was the hand drawn art used to convey the story

I didn't like 5 probably because of the the over the top hollywood wanna be characters. Nagassee, Chopper, etc can go to hell :P

hehe you should buy it, its totally worth it. And the voice acting is very cool! I actually downloaded the demo for HAWKX yesterday and was surprised to hear the voice actor for Mobius 1 in that game...even ubisoft knows how awesome the voice acting was in AC4

I don't really like the A10-A, It's not as badass lookin as the F117-A. I mean if u saw a squadron of F117A's flyin over ur head to go bomb some terrorists, you would think 'OK were kool now.' and if u saw the A10-A u would think British Airways got a new paint scheme :P

Why are you using an A-10 with rockets for anti-air? Just use ordinary missiles instead of wasting half the salvo.

because in a turn the rockets spread to blanket the area infront of you, trapping the enemy aircraft in the cluster.

I noticed this is not the stock A-10 tho, but is the DLC version. Cool.

haha, that and even with the jets that have like 100 missles, "It is a arcadde game" who cares..... its still fun as hell, its just basically 95% amazing reaslistics and that 5% that is arcadey because they want u to be able to just pick it up and play, also it SUCKS when u run outa missles, 6 shots wtf???? i wanna play something entertaining.

I totally agree, it's fun as hell and somewhere between realistic and arcady... but I just want to add the point that an a-10 performing like this is way over to the arcade end of the spectrum... that plane would be stalling all over the place... imo "a-10 Cuba" was the best a-10 sim of all time, realistic and fun. flying the higher performance planes in ace is probably more realistic aside from those "high-g turns" which are like 20-g bone-breakers

@Vaylen104 well in the hands of a skilled person, its possible. USAAF B-24 co-pilot named Owen J. Baggett shot down a Japanese Zero with a freaking pistol in March of 1943. What happened was that bailed out of his bomber after it was shot down, and while still parachuting, the zero came in to shoot him down. Baggett took out his pistol and shot 4 shots at the zero ,and the zero went down. It was confirmed at the crash site the pilot had a bullet in his head. Talk about luck and balls...

1> Those aren't missiles, they're rockets.

2> Each of the 4 hardpoints has 3 x 16pack of rockets. 4 X 3 X 16 = 192 rockets. That's the same as a real A-10.
