the thing is that these digital amps sound pretty allright, but you feel in your body that something is not right :( valve amps will give you the opposite :)

I own the MkII, :p i love it so much, its one of the best amps for the price out there i feel it beats mesa's rectifiers, it's no ENGL but its still up there, the MKI did have a less sensitive volume control, so you could crank it more like a normal tube amp, but the way i see it with the MKII i can put the master on 2 and it would be loud enough to play a gig, or if you want to crank it, crank the master then just lower the channel :)

so i love this amp and i love phil x. but i think i might stick with the first model. sure it takes slightly longer to navigate the menu but at least i kno what im doing. and the tuner isnt as rediculously sensitive,

hes squeezin the strings behind the nut so it creates a vibrato like sound

he pushes the strings on the hadstock down, and highers the tension of the strings that way. Something like bending all the strings together using a floyd rose tailpiece. simple.

it is like a dive bomb for stop tail guitars, you bend the string and while you are unbending you are detuning the guitar.
