RHCP version is better but as with pretty much every cover people will be biased and can't give a fair opinion. not everybody, but a lot of them. Ramones started something, and without them many bands wouldn't exist, but i put this more on the right thing,time, and place then on sheer brilliance. It was more about anti establishment than brilliant music. RHCP are musically far more versatile and skilled than ramones ever were.
