I absolutely LOVE Desperate housewives but seriously, Marc Cherry was the writer of Golden girls? Wow, he just gets better and better with each show doesnt he? I always thought how amazing it would be to live your youth as F.R.I.E.N.D.S, then your middle age as the Desperate Housewives and your golden years as the Golden Girls, wouldnt that be a perfect life?

Marc never revealed exactly where "Wisteria Lane" is but he did say its based off where he grew up in Orange County California. But that is actually a neighborhood they film in.

The set used for the street is Colonial Street on the Universal Studios backlot outside Los Angeles.
