  • You should try powering each SRX728S with an old bridged JBL MPX1200, it's about the best amplifier you can use for subs when bridged, and it's almost as good as the Crown I-Tech amps. It's heavy but holy sh*t it's amazing. I used bridged MPA750 amps on my SRX728S subs because I play music that's very compressed. Try it out, trust me, the MPX1200 bridged anhilate the Crown XTI4000 bridged.

  • @TurbulentMethods Thank you i'll look into it:)

  • @rushentertainment

They're heavy but you'll be glad you're using them because the power they can output is amazing.New switch mode amps have smaller power supplies and less or smaller power caps, they're not capable of extracting the sheer amount of power out the mains supply needed for subs.So amps like XTI series aren't able to output that power continuous all night, they can only output it in bursts, wheras the old amps can deliver it continuously, that's why they're still the best for bass.

  • SRX dual 18in subs??

  • @RMIND14 yuppers

  • i could feel them subs from here......lol

  • aahhhh snap i want yo slipmats rush ill trade you 2 technics and a butterrug for em lol think bout it and weel trade at live in 2011 lol i might be going

  • That mixer doesn't have XLR out right? How do you hook it up to your amps?

  • @djmaverick you right that mixer I was useing doesn't have XLR so I used 1/4 to XLR cable into the DBX drive rack. That mixer was used only for the test my main mixer is a denon dnx500 and that has xlr out which you would want your mixer to have.

  • I had a blast with my XTI 4000. Go into the Crossover portion of System Architect and set your crossover to 80Hz. Then kill the highs and increase the gain on the low end. You might shit yourself so use caution.

  • @PrymeTymeEnter mmm ill give it a try wwwhhhhhaaaaa hahahahhahha

  • try bass i love you and make a vid on the song w/ the speakers

  • so you don't beatmix? Do you use turntables/CDjs?

I like your speakers a lot! and crown amps = amazing
