I'm also working on a copy of Y Bashmet's viola; i wonder where Rafaelian got his template from. This looks slightly different to Bashmet's but that may just be the extended corners, full f-holes, and a smaller rounded on this model. Good choice of wood for the back too :)
I've finished the copy except for varnishing :) unfortunately, it's 17 inches which is a bit too big for me, but it has the deep sound alright :) of course the original is around 16 inches
