@AlienwOw17 just buy a steelseries sensei, it might be a bit more expensive, but it has more buttons, works for both leftys and rightys, and has a much much better laser.
If this mouse is out of the price range you can afford, i can suggest you to go with a4tech xl-747h, which is really similar (specs, design, feel), has got 3600 dpi, programmable keys, adjustable weight and will cost half the price. Graphics on it are really crappy, but the overall quality is ok - and it seems quite durable. By the time it dies you will be able to afford the deathadder ;) hope this helps! thumbs up so everyone can see this!

In my country the G400 it´s actually 11 euros cheaper than the razer deathadder. I bought G400 from 37 euros, the Deathadder it´s 48 euros. Double the price? Don´t think so.

@SuperWeedPower wow 3500 dpi isnt anything and dpi is the accuracy. the mouse is more accurate if you put dpi max and change the sensitivity settings from the game. i personally use max dpi and i prefer 5600 or more.

its worth it i beleve, this is due to the fact that some of the worser ones, cost high. the only problem i can see, is the ring sensor (this might be the one that does't have the problem with it though) and maybe the dpi of this model, the new 3500 is amazing, thats all you need, any higher is just pointless though.
its only bad if you want wireless, wireless isn't good though as it lags and needs batteries.

You clearly haven't tried the G500.Up to 5200dpi and 1000 rps. Weight adjustment and on-board memory AND 10 adjustable buttons with hyper-scroll. All this and more for under $60. DUDE................ ;)

@aftermathmovieslite The new version is. This is the older version only with 1800 dpi. I have the 3500 dpi deathadder and i have it set at 1800 dpi for the fact that 3500 is just insane.(Hard to get used to for me at least.)
I believe they do not make the 1800 dpi deathadder anymore but it is a legacy mouse. So keep that in mind.
@soccermanabc naga is you are playing something like WoW naga is great. It has 18 or some buttons on it, which is way too much for FPS gaming. Razer is great because you can assign your weapon switch and etc to your two thumb buttons.
@Netrex44 Sooo true - I had a Logitech MX510 for about 6 years. It actually was my first gaming mouse ever and changed my gaming experience completely. I only had to buy a new mouse (exactly: the death adder) because the right mouse button stopped working and I couldn't repair it. I hope Razer mice last longer than "only" 6 years :D

@kiki0391 I got it. Its all twitchy though. Had it for a few weeks now and it keeps twitching. I'm on OSX so that could explain a lot. And I'm annoyed because you can't assign the extra buttons in games.
@GamingTechOnline I am fairly sure this is an older model, I can say for a fact that the max DPI on the newest model is 3500 DPI with options of 450 DPI, 900 DPI, 1800 DPI, and 3500 DPI, it also has on On the fly sensitivity control, you press down the mousewheel then scroll, really handy!
I recommend getting it if you like to play a wide verity of computer video games

lol i just got the G9X Laser Mouse for $182 (aus) and it's better than the Razer death adder. Lol. i have both btw.. you guys should get it. 5700 DPI and up to 4.2 meters per second. Lol.

@aftermathmovieslite The new version is. This is the older version only with 1800 dpi. I have the 3500 dpi deathadder and i have it set at 1800 dpi for the fact that 3500 is just insane.(Hard to get used to for me at least.)
I believe they do not make the 1800 dpi deathadder anymore but it is a legacy mouse. So keep that in mind.

@soccermanabc naga is you are playing something like WoW naga is great. It has 18 or some buttons on it, which is way too much for FPS gaming. Razer is great because you can assign your weapon switch and etc to your two thumb buttons.

@Netrex44 Sooo true - I had a Logitech MX510 for about 6 years. It actually was my first gaming mouse ever and changed my gaming experience completely. I only had to buy a new mouse (exactly: the death adder) because the right mouse button stopped working and I couldn't repair it. I hope Razer mice last longer than "only" 6 years :D

1800dpi? The one I saw in the store said it had 4000dpi, and the razer site says 3500dpi, I'm confused.

@GamingTechOnline u have the first version its 1800 dpi and u have the 2nd version its 3500 dpi it doesnt have 4000 the razer lachesis has not the DA :)

@kiki0391 I got it. Its all twitchy though. Had it for a few weeks now and it keeps twitching. I'm on OSX so that could explain a lot. And I'm annoyed because you can't assign the extra buttons in games.

@GamingTechOnline I am fairly sure this is an older model, I can say for a fact that the max DPI on the newest model is 3500 DPI with options of 450 DPI, 900 DPI, 1800 DPI, and 3500 DPI, it also has on On the fly sensitivity control, you press down the mousewheel then scroll, really handy!
I recommend getting it if you like to play a wide verity of computer video games
