I agree, Glide is better for some people, generally people with longer bodies, long legs, ect. its just easier to snap to the toe-board and throw in glide if you have long legs than it is in spin.

Are you going to say that Ulf Timmerman was worse off because he used the glide? That's what worked for him.

I've used both techniques, and had far more success with the glide, than the spin.

well thats good for you. but i have had more success in the spin then i ever would with the glide. i have improved by 5 feet in shot put in matter of months by switching to the spin. i could never do that with the glide. plus the only really advantage the glide has is consistency of throws and thats about it.but really it does come down to what works for that person.
