Because the new president of Fox Sports decided to enact any new ideas he could drunkenly come up with and thought that Fox should only have one theme so they shoehorned the generic NFL music into all the other sports.

If you need more anymore on how ridiculous this guy is, he's the same guy who came up with the "glowing hockey puck" idea in the 90s.

One of my favorite cues is the vamp version of the rock track. It's track #51 for those who have the soundtrack. I don't know what it is, but it just seems very dramatic and would fit perfectly at the end of a late inning in one of those dramatic playoff games.

The second one played in this video is also another favorite of mine. The fade out and fade in you created at 3:27 is also kick ass.

FOX really needs to go back to the MLB theme. Enough with the football music in baseball. lol.

@DigitalRosh i use to hear the nfl version, on AM sports radio (metro detroit- national fox radio on nfl game days)) , they would play what seemed to be the full version ( not looped) for 3-5 minutes, they wouldnt play this ending,, but it was tight. ..... at like 4 am when its more dead air time

There's a small free-admission Philadelphia A's museum not far north of Philly.

I'm a Phillies phan. She was an Athletics supporter! ;-)

I'm a football fan first before any other sport, but i do enjoy basketball and to a lesser degree, baseball, and so I LOVE the NFL on FOX theme and the MLB on FOX themes, but I think the MLB on FOX theme is the best of them. The power, drama, intensity and emotion, just wow!
