  • This is great. Thumbs up!

  • *...emergence of subject matter that some thinkers in philosophy (James, Husserl, and Heidegger) was dealing about a century ago.

I'm happy to discover that some psychologists are in the process picking up where some philosophers had spent time before the trend of analytic and continental philosophies covered up these endeavors.

  • I couldn't help but notice the parallels between your work and the hedonic psychology of Dr. Kahneman @ Princeton. His work concludes with a 50/50 blending of what he terms the experiencing and remembering selves. He also also deals with temporal consciousness and time as opposed your use of modes of temporality.

I'm a philosophy major and it seems that between the two of you, there may be an emergence of subject matter that some thinkers in philosophy about a century ago.

  • He's 77!?!?!?!? i hope i look as good as that when i'm that old o_O

  • hey, when will you be on FaceBook. I am interested in your work on heroism and the social mechanics of it.

  • :49 hahaha!

  • still looks pretty good for a 77 year old.

  • i understood the point, how individuals change their behavior and act against humanity, you were trying to get across with the Stanford Prison Experiment. Nevertheless, the way you started it by lying in your advertisement and treated the volunteers violently was AGAINST HUMANITY. so maybe you should look at how and why you changed your behavior and then do the experiment on others.

  • What can I do to help my shy boyfriend be more confident of himself? He has a fear of approaching new people out of fear of rejection or ridicule. He was often taken advantage of before we met, but I just don't know what to do to help him be less shy.

  • did he just say "and a white guy falls across the tracks"?

what a strange character btw. but then, those usually do make the best teachers.

  • You gotta love Zimbardo!

  • haha..shyness...zimbardo is the bomb man, the standford prison study was legendary. Hmm, question on the paradox of time, aint happiness almost genetic and that there is a baseline to it? so how does putting a different time frame make us happier?

  • Why do you think no one has commented since this was posted in May? Is it because they are shy?
